Just what I needed
I've never seen in anyone's ears before, but this Otoscope was just what I needed to check my mother's ears. The picture showing you what wax looked like was uncannily similar to what I saw, giving me the confidence to continue with the ear drops and book an appointment for her ears to be syringed. Some people have said the LED light is bleaching of colour, I did not find this a problem. I think it's a great product and am so glad I've got it. I can now monitor her ears and make sure they never get that bad again. I can recommend it.

A great addition to the first aid box
If you want an instrument to check ear wax etc... this is the one for you! It is super slim to fit in the tiniest of ear canals and has a great light and magnifies brillantly! Perfect!

Build quality is a little low
It works, I'll give it that. Nice and bright, and will get the work done. Plastic components are very thin, and feel rather fragile. Falling onto a socked foot cracked the hoop that ear pieces friction fit into - not the suppliers fault, but why I comment on build quality. Falling on a tile I wouldn't have said boo about, but a foot? The focal point is a little close, making you have to really get this thing into the ear to examine the ear drum. At this price point, I'd shop around a little first.

Exactly as described, works great for looking for earwax in my 4 year old. I'm not sure I could tell if an ear is infected, although that was not the reason I purchased this, I just want to know if the oil drops are working to get rid of my child's ear wax.

Works like a charm
Works like a charm! I am SO happy I got one of these, now I can check my kid's ears without having to go to the dr.. it def takes practice! Look at lots of images on google. All a bit yucky to look at but needs to be done! Very high quality product, works well.. comes with 3 different size points. So happy!!

Not medical grade, but highly recommend!
Been using this for a couple years now for Son's ears. Not as good as medical otoscope. But for the convenience of peeking into your child's ear to see for yourself if he may have an infection (can be hard to see sometimes) and save a trip to the ER/Doc or Clinics. Son needed tubes so ear infections never fully healed. Was able to check frequently in order to use drop antibiotics at home until surgery was done. Docs were glad I took initiative. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!

Works well for a lay person
Does the job well; I’m a nurse and at work I obviously use better equipment, but at home it does what it needs too. Not the sturdiest tool but as long as you handle it carefully and store it safely and away from kids it should last a while

Awesome. All my friends told me I wouldn't be able to make a good diagnostic with an home-use otoscope. I can see clearly and call for an appointment in a quickly manner if I notice something wrong in my kids ears.
