Let me start by saying that I own several watches. I have a Bell and Ross Phantom . Multiple Higher End Invicta watches, and a hand full of stuff I have not put on in years! Without a doubt, this model is by far my favorite. I looked at the other leather-band models at place here in atlanta, All of which were really nice, but the strap was really thin, and the watch looked small on my wrist. Went home and did research and found this one, took a gamble with it. Ordered it, I guess because the stainless band is so much Thicker than the leatherband, it has a much fuller look on the wrist. In the photo the band almost looks golden silver, or a dark silver color, it's a solid Silver. Very polished, very nice. I would Recommend taking it to someone who knows what their doing when getting it sized. This is the best purchase I have made this year, And knowing that Secret service gave this to Barack Obama as a birthday gift in 2007 makes it that much more symbolic. I promise you wont be disappointed.
