Excellent well made and functional. I did need to sharpen them upon receiving, but other than that, we love them!!

Five largish knives with a husky rollup leather holder. Damascus steel is not necessarily created in Damascus these days but still is something to see. It is made by layering many levels of hot metal together, heating it up more and squeezing the devil out of it until it forms a single piece. That causes a greater strength than a single piece on its own. It looks unique- lots and lots of stripes indicate the process. Knives, or swords, whatever, remain sharper longer than the usual blade. Thus its value in the kitchen. Really best there than out whacking trees with one. Keep oiled with a non-petroleum protection as it will start to discolor.

Handles are made of cheap material, blade is not even sharp or straight edged they are worn and very crooked. Even the bag to hold the knives is poorly made, looks like a child hand sewn it, and finally the logo they print on the knives were printed backwards, that really shows how little they care about there product. 0/5 would not recommend. I’d send it back if I could. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

The Damascus pattern is very slight and the blades are thin otherwise a good looking knife

Absolutely gorgeous knives. Oh, and they will cut too! I am a knife guy and most of my kitchen knives have been run of the mill and hum drum. Not so with these stunning and sharp blades. The handles are beautiful, especially the mosaic pin. They are so pretty and sharp that I cannot find a bad thing to say. The knife roll is nice enough, but the blades are so pretty I ordered a magnetic knife block to put on the counter and show them off. As soon as I unboxed the knives I was blown away by the craftsmanship and look of them. They are beautifully crafted with a lot of attention to detail, you can really notice this in the handles. They arrived in a very secure box and were all inside bags with a little grease to protect from humidity. 5 different sizes of knives to ensure that perfect cut with the right knife every time. The leather pouch included is the excellent final touch for the set. It is a great show stopper at any dinner party ir can be the work horse for the most demanding of chefs.

These are not Damascus steel like it states. The wood handles are garbage also and the knives are not evenly balanced I guess they would be a good show piece to put on the wall but for using in the kitchen not good at all.

Absolutely beautiful and super sharp knives. I am so in love with these. Cokes in a beautiful case and also comes with a cute keychain!
