Dune: Imperium - Immortality

This game is SO much fun!!! We have bought every expansion and just continue to love playing even though I rarely win. I’m 53 and we play with our daughter and son in law about once a month. We would play more often if we didn’t have to usually wait for the 1-2 year old granddaughter to go to bed and if we could visit more often. A little bit of a learning curve getting started, but videos are great and recommend tutorials help to make it easier to learn. That’s normal for these type of games though. Well worth the time. Every game is different and it’s fun to try different strategies every time.

The expansion adds a whole new dimension and small board that is quite fun, especially if you've played the game a bit and want to give it some additional difficulty. Regarding the delivery, everything went without a hitch and the package arrived in perfect condition.

This expansion adds a new board to manage new resources. There are two more victory points to be earned on the new board. Spending specimens allow you to purchase new cards with amazing abilities. Moving up the research track allows you to earn specimens, more research, and a few other things. The additional options make for a great addition to the game. I enjoyed the base game, but I will never play it again. Adding this expansion is easy to teach and doesn’t have to be used, but the extra choices are so tempting, it’s worth having them in every game. If you like the base game and want a little more to think about, this is worth it.

This expansion brought so much fun! Having alternatives for the deck really helps out. I recommend stacking your imperium row by piling the top most faction into a single pile, Benegesserit, Fremen, Spacing Guild, Emperor, Factionless. It really helps people not get choked out of archetypes, and makes deckbuilding so much more enjoyable.

This expansion really adds to the depth of Dune Imperium without adding too much complexity! I'd also like to note that Dire Wolf Digital is an awesome company that will respond to inquiries quickly and help make anything amiss right. Can't recommend their products enough!

This expansion offers more of what make DI great, and adds just enough to be interesting without overwhelming complexity. The components are adequately produced, and the balance changes are welcome.

Great expansion for a great board game. The only problem is my girlfriend still beats me all the time...

We with friends really like the Dune and this expansion make game more complex and now its more ways to win. I had a problem that my boyfriend played it too much and he knew all the ways to win faster than me, now its 50/50. 6 little dune stars out of 5. Come with like gummy candies, super nice, thanks.

I like this one better than the Ix expansion. All add-on blends in pretty well. The Ix one had fixed issues with original game but also introduced the technology armory. If you play the 2 expensions together, you probably won't bother with the Ix tech armory stacks in short games. Epic battle, Dreadnoughts and Shipments are still good with this expansion.
