AHGXG Dotted Journal, 320 Pages, A5 (5.75'' × 8.38'')

I really love this book. The grid dots are nice and light -- they don't add unnecessary noise to the overall visual. I'd worried about that. I LOVE the subtle numbered pages, and I am really happy to have four lined content pages (2 sheets, front/back of each). The paper is great -- thin, but not so thin you can't use a fountain pen with it. The paper has a nice hand to it -- reminds me of Moleskin paper a tiny bit. Still not quite that good but still really nice. Just like most paper, Sharpie markers bleed through to the back. Sharpie colored *pens" do not bleed. Colored pencils actually did pretty well, but there really isn't enough tooth to be doing a lot of layering. My mechanical pencil didn't love the hard slick surface, but a regular 2B did great. Watercolor didn't bleed through, but the paper got predictably wrinkled after getting so wet. This will never be a good dedicated watercolor book, but will hold its own for adding some watercolor bits to a sketch. Tombow pens did okay with it as well. I mostly work in acrylics and collage. There will be a tendency to wrinkle if you don't take some care with first layers. Still and all, this book will be perfect to do my abstracty collages alongside my daily journaling stuff. There's a nice pocket in the back to hold my collage bits.

This journal is sturdy, extremely professional, looking for work and does not bleed through its pages. I got the 360 page one this year for work as they use them every year and sometimes run out of pages. It is not much larger, which I was worried about. It’s perfect.

I've been buying these for my bullet journaling for several years and they're good value: sturdy, good quality paper, accurate markings, and a nice range of cover colors. I don't use the stencils included, but others might enjoy them. The back pocket is especially handy for notes or appointment cards.

Love this so much! I was in the hunt for a practical and thick journal. Solid and high-quality paper and built. The elastic solid holds the journal close. Color is bright and true. I will be a forever customer, keeping buying more. It offers 320 papers awesome, gives me more space to write, ponder, plan, record... with many purposes. I will buy more for my kids.

I really loved this journal but as I got halfway through, I realized they switch the quality of paper at the halfway mark. I still like it and it has held up well, but I thought it would be prudent to share. I bullet journal and use a combination of Tombow markers and japanese pens to create my layouts. One day I noticed that my markers were coming out so much darker than previously. It's very subtle but it feels like the paper has less sheen and therefore absorbs more ink. It's a noticeable change - I also tested my markers on pages from the first half of the journal to confirm it was a paper change and it is. It's a slight degradation of quality although I'll probably still continue to use these in future based on them being priced well and the binding/paper holding up over time.

I recently started getting into a category of drawings called zen doodle. Silly name, but so of the drawings that people have done are just absolutely beautiful! Plus, I also make mandalas too. A big part of the mandala process is making a template. Now, I'm kinda cheap and by that I mean I'm not going to be buying paper that already has everything mapped out on it. So, I started looking for a good notebook with graph paper. Believe me, it makes the whole process so much easier. I was lucky enough to find this beautiful hardcover journal with graph paper at 50%off! I couldn't believe it! First, I love the cover of this!! It's very soft and the color is just beautiful! Plus, it very strong and sturdy. It comes with a pocket at the back that has little transparent sticky notes you can use to divide different sections of this however you want, which is awesome. The paper is fantastic!! I only use fine line drawing pens and maybe a Sharpie S-gel pen for my drawings and none of them have bled through the paper a bit!! So, if that's the case, then the paper has been be a decent enough thickness. I am so very happy with this journal/notebook or whatever you want to call it. It lays down flat for me to work easily anywhere I am, which is really nice. I will definitely be getting another one very soon!!

Fantastic journal. Compact size, but thick with a lot of pages. Has two attached bookmarks and comes with organizational stickers. Definitely worth the price, the color and feel of pages and cover are good quality. Will definitely buy again when I fill this one.

What an excellent bargain this A5 notebook is! Its Amazon description is spot-on. The paper quality is exemplary. I use the notebook as a personal journal & make my entries with a Lamy Al-Star medium nib fountain pen. There's no ghosting with the very black ink I use & of course no feathering occurs. It's truly 100 GSM quality. The cream-coloured paper is a treat for the eyes. This is my first such notebook & it has some 'big shoes to fill'. I previously used an all-weather, waterproof notebook that was built like a tank, but I filled each notebook too quickly with so few pages in a smaller format. This virtually doubles the page count & is in a slightly larger format. I don't need nor did I expect waterproof paper, but the quality is superb as it is. I've read other reviews of owners who've used theirs for several years without having problems with its binding. I must admit that it DOES appear well-constructed. I'm also looking forward to using my fountain pen again since water-based ink can't be used on waterproof paper. Shipping was prompt as always plus it was well-packaged to avoid damage in-transit.
