Pins are too short
I bought these for the retractable pin to repair my plantation shutter but it's too short to hold properly.

Perfect size and good quality
Having tried some other brands which were slightly thicker and the pin didn’t work in them when installed, this brand is perfectly made in size and quality and worked well in the first attempt.

The Easy & Affordable Way to Repair Plantation Shutters
My plantation shutters have been through a lot in two decades, but recently, one of the pins decided to call it quits. Looking to replace it without a complete overhaul, I opted for the Kowibcl Shutter Repair Pins (30 pack). Here's my experience:- These pins are exactly the size I needed! While replacing the broken pin wasn't the smoothest sail (the old plastic pin clung stubbornly to its spot), a little drilling and maneuvering got the new one in place. It secured the shutter slat perfectly.- Having 30 pins in the pack is a major plus. It not only took care of the current issue, but it also provides a stockpile for any future renegade shutter pins that might decide to rebel. The price for this bulk pack is very reasonable too.- While the pins seem sturdy at first glance, only time will tell how well they hold up over the years. However, the low cost makes them easily replaceable if needed.Overall, I'm very happy with the Kowibcl Shutter Repair Pins. They provided a relatively easy and affordable solution to fixing my broken shutter slat. The 30-pack offers a great value and future security, and while the initial replacement required some extra effort, the end result is a perfectly secured shutter.
