This is my third purchase of pillow speakers. The other two were a single speaker (mono) by different manufacturers. The first ones I bought failed due to the wire connection into the speaker wearing out (poor design). The second ones were too quiet even if you turn the radio up to full volume.However these stereo pillow speakers from Sound Oasis are well made, loud enough and I expect them to last a long time. It is a bonus having two speakers, so that when you position both of them under the pillow correctly you can get stereo, although you don't have to do this always. You don't have to fiddle about with them and they don't get tangled. Also it is useful having a volume control.

After testing this product and finding it wasn’t as good quality as I was even expected, yAnd I’m being pretty lenient it’s not even close.I’m now bitterly disappointed to see it’s non-returnable if I knew that in the first place I certainly wouldn’t of tried , as this clearly is an item that needs to be tried for quality purposes before keeping.Shocked how poor this is considering it’s reviews, I actually have a particularly thin pillow, and the sound through was terrible , stupid on my behalf not to read absolutely EVERY detail before purchasing.I will learn from that and even more so the fact that in the option is you cannot contact the seller directly to explain the situation you are palmed off to an automated service

This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased this pillow speaker. I use it every night and it’s works just great. Convenient volume control, reliable, fab. They have each lasted me between 2-3 years with daily use and not being gentle with them. Eventually the wires loosen and the connection becomes patchy. But honestly this seems reasonable for the product at under £20. Definitely recommend.

I bought this as I am an insomniac.I can place the speakers under my pillow and listen to music or soothing sleep therapy stuff without disturbing my partner.The volume is adjusted by means of an inline control. One must set the volume on ones MP3 player or whatever to max. The volume output surprised me; rather than earplug level, it is more like a loudspeaker. Perhaps there is an amplifier built in?Of course the sound is muffled by the pillow on top, so it is no good for speech unless on max volume. Also don't expect HIFI.Realistically though, it does a good job, all things considered. Certainly a lot better than trying to rest with earplugs poking you and wires all wrapped round your neck.

I'm a night owl, but he isn't! So I listen late into the night with these speakers, and they work fantastically. They do slide around a bit, so I've safety-pinned them to the underside of my pillow. Otherwise, comfy, good volume without distortion, and my husband has no idea I'm listening to something.Bonus benefit: since I use my iPhone for an alarm, with these plugged in to the phone my husband doesn't hear my alarm, either (but it still definitely wakes me up). We're ordering a second set now so he can use them for HIS alarm. These have been a big peacemaker in our household.

Just what I wanted. Slides nicely under pillow; sound quality and build standard is top notch though max volume is a little low (which my wife is very happy about!)I had to buy a second set because the first failed. The wire connection to the speakers is just too flimsy....the second failed as well. I agree with a previous commentor that the wires are just not flexible enough. They get in the way and eventually break. Not good and now the second set has failed at the same places I'm looking elsewhere. 😢

I suffer with roaring tinnitus, some nights it is worse than others. These are really useful for when it is bad and I can't sleep. I use natural noises such as rain and waves that kind of thing, to help take my mind off the tinnitus and these speakers work well for that, as you do not need too much clarity for the sound. However I could imagine that if you were wanting to use these for music with lyrics in, or to listen to pod casts, then they are not great because I just don't think the quality of the sound would be up to scratch. So for me a good investment, but if it is sound quality you are after, then maybe not for you.

These speakers are excellent. I have bought cheap single units & have never been happy with them. These units are top quality. The cables are far superior to the cheaper speakers as is the sound quality. Before buying the SP-101 speakers I used to have to access the volume control on my MP3 player. Now, I can adjust the volume using the in-line volume control fitted to the speakers with ease. I fixed each speaker to my pillow with a space of approximately 20cm. by stitching around the cables close to the speaker units to the underside of the pillow. Before restricting their movement I found that the speakers would slide around and move out of listening range. I read a review on these speakers recently where the reviewer gave them only one star. The reason he gave was that he could not hear them through his memory foam pillow. Due to the density of memory foam, this comes as no surprise to me. Forget pillow speakers if your preferred pillow is memory foam. For use with conventional pillows buy the Sound Oasis SP-101 speakers, you will not be disappointed.

This is so much better than the old fashion single speakers. The length of cord between each speaker allows you to put each speaker as far apart (or as close together) as you want giving you a great stereo effect that was lacking in the older pillow speaker versions.The volume control is far enough away from the speakers so it doesn't create another lump in the pillow, but close enough to reach and find so that you don't have to pull your arm out of your socket to reach the main radio or cd unit.The physical connecting cord is quite long, however, I try keep the extra cord wrapped up due to the fact I have kitties and don't want them tangled in it.All in all, I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family, since the sound seems to stay within the range of the pillow, depending on how loud the volume is.

Price is very reasonable and the speakers are louder than I expected.
