flexi New Classic Cord Black Retractable Dog Lead Medium 20kg - 8m (26ft)

Best retractable lead I've tried. Its main positive is the thumb brake feature. My dog's only 9kg, but she's seen off three 50kg flexi leads just by hitting the end of the spool at speed. The thumb brake stops the dog from hitting the end of the spool and overtaxing the mechanism. Press down with your thumb and the brake applies and stops the dog instantly. I've had it about three months and, so far, so good.

Use it for my cats, bought this make a few times.Wish I had bought the smaller handle as easier to get out of bushes!

My second Flexi lead. Did try another brand before I bought this but it was very heavy with a flat tape cord (got caught and twisted)This Flexi lead has good features.1. It's light weight.2. Small handle (good for smaller hands)3. It has a rope cord (not flat tape) so it doesn't catch when retracted.4. It has a stopper bit and a thicker bit of lead by the clip, so the lead rope doesn't retract all the way in, which can cause a pull up on the harness/or collar of your dog, if you use one.5. Soft grip.It's just a really nice lead. I'm delighted with it. Small enough to put in your pocket if you carry your puppy sometimes. We have a small pom, so we do sometimes.

I is useful when you can’t let your dog off the lead for safety. But is difficult to hold if you dog pulls.Whilst it works well the cord does wear out.

Good for chihuahuas

My small dog is an expert escapologist, shoots away if anything moves wether waves or squirrels.This 28 ft lead allows freedom of movement with the lightest of weights. Taped 28 footers are a drag and the cord works for a small but rapid little dog.who gets lost in the moment.

Nice length, second one I’ve bought as first one broke but that was because I’d dropped it in sea water a couple of times. This one is lasting well.

Lovely to hold, easy to attach and operate. Nice length for dog to roam whilst still on lead. Got it in the colour blue which is lush
