The stick has a good size like a magic ward for young children to hold. I like the fact that it is rechargeable using USB cable instead of battery. There is a slider switch for turning it on and off, and a button for turning on and switch the music.There are 10 tunes to select from, once you press on the button the music turns on, and press another time to change music and so on. I personally find the tunes are a bit annoying as each of them are only short tunes and keep repeating themselves. There is not volume control. And the music can't be switched off unless you switch off the machine. However, you can just have the light on and not the music if you don't press the button at all.The light effect is quite pretty and colours are bright. The angle of the fan can be adjusted and it will stops rotating when touched so it won't hurt the kid.

It comes in a nice colourful box, which makes it very much giftable. The material is strong and of decent quality. The lighting looks lovely; I like that I can mute the music. I also like that its rechargeable, so it saves money on batteries. Usually, the standard battery-powered toys take a lot of AAA/AA batteries. I had one that took 6 x batteries each, so it's an important feature, especially considering they're used a lot! The battery lasts me a long, and that's essential for me. I ordered this for my eight years old son. He did enjoy it for a couple of days, but then I found he put it to one side and never seemed to play with it again once the novelty had worn off. Overall, this is a decent quality colourful toy for the right age kids; sadly, that isn't my son. In my opinion, this is for 2-5 years old kids.I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

I try to get to a fireworks display each year to see the display, but they are now full of children with light up toys that someone is selling. I can beat them at their own game this year by having the 'Kitforte Magical Unicorn Swivel Windmill' ready and paid for. It is not the cheapest thing, but it is impressive once it is going, and the music is playing.Thankfully, there is a two switch situation that allows you to turn the light on, but also the music on and off. There are loads of tunes, but they play smaller snippets on repeat at one set volume. The kids love it, but it can be too much for an adult.It is a well-made and chunky light. It is not too heavy, even when spinning and simple enough for a child to control. It is very impressive when the top spins as it looks like a light circle changing colour and the handle also lights. I also like the USB charging as this means no batteries to scramble around for and screw in. Just remember to charge it before November.

This is such a fun toy and my 5 year old has absolutely love this. It’s large, great quality, so much fun and robust. Would highly recommend this!

I need to get something for my kids to be entertained 'inside the house', especially this winter season. I would say this is a simple toy but interactive. It is colourful and more fun when turned on. Glad it is rechargeable and no battery is needed. Surprisingly new music for me and the kids. I recommend the product! Just testing the durability at the moment.
