Works as it should.
Works as it should, good bang for the buck. Mounts up to the rifle perfectly with no drama and holds the scope good n tight. Many, many rounds through and no signs of loosening up. Common sense is put a little bit of blue loctite. Definitely reccomend.

Very heavy duty from all that I can tell. ...
Very heavy duty from all that I can tell. Bought this and the Pinty one which is a 30mm/1" combo Pinty 1 Inch 25.4 mm 30mm Scope Mount Solid Black Cantilever Flat Top Dual Ring Adjustable . The Pinty is a little lighter alloy, and this one appears to be stronger. I will be using this on a AR15 5.56, and try later on AR10 308 Win. If I have any issues with it, I will update my review.

I feel it would be very useful on a scope that was not as compact
I was impressed with the general overall appearance of this mount. The ability to change the rings to fit your placement of an accessory sight and or light is very convenient. I did not end up mounting this unit on my ar as I have a nikon p223 scope and the space between mounts would not allow the scope to be used with this mount. I feel it would be very useful on a scope that was not as compact. It would greatly help the consumer if the full dimensions were available when browsing for this type of product.

Surprising Quality, Affordable Price
For the price of this item, my expectations weren't the highest, but figured if it was junk, I wouldn't be out much money. I received this in the mail and can't speak highly enough of the build quality of this item. This worked perfectly on my S&W M&P15 and I have yet to have any issues with it after a few months of use. Would definitely purchase this again for other rifles.

Impressed with the quality for the price!
I was skeptical because of price, but I mounted this on my rifle last night & test fired the rifle this afternoon! No issues whatsoever! I was able to torque the scope rings to about 16 in. lbs. without any issues & torqued the base to about 45 in. lbs. The finish is pretty decent & I was impressed for the price!

Junk
Absoulute garbage. You could visually see the scope was off center of the rifles barrel.I bought 4 of these and on 4 different rifles, the scope was pointing off to the side. Two of the rifles, the scope was out of adjustment and still could not zero.

Mount will eat up your scopes windage adjustment
I wanted to like these. I bought 5 based on the positive reviews, and the price. These mounts have 2 flaws. 1 is design, and 1 is manufacturing. The nuts are very short. They don't have the thread engagement length like my Burris's. The result is that there are fewer active threads, therefore less torque must be applied to avoid stripping. The Burris can handle 65 in-lb of torque, these are recommended at 25 in-lb. It's not the end of the world, but it's a minor dissappointment. The major flaw is in the casting itself. After reading another user comment that he used up most of his windage, I was suspect of the mounts parallelism. I took 2 of these mounts, and put them on my rail. I rotated the 2nd mount 180 degrees from my 1st mount (I ordered multiple of these mounts), so they were facing each other, and tightened to 25 in-lb.In the picture, notice the amount of offset. The portion of the mount that holds the scope is not parallel to its base. This mount will eat up your windage. If you sight in and forget, you might be fine. If you're a knob turner, this mount is not for you.The amount of offset measured was 0.070". For a single mount, it would be 0.035", over a distance of about 3". It may be within normal tolerances, or maybe I was unlucky and got a bad one, but seeing that amount of misalignment has me spooked on these.

A high quality manufactured part.
Purchased the part on the reviews I read. All the parts were of a smooth finish. No Burrs no Hang-Ups. I've been in manufacturing most of my life. And this is the part that will last a life of your gun. Very well-constructed. And the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I haven't shot it yet, which is what I'm going to do tomorrow. LOL
