Great Bluetooth speaker great sound quality

Setup the return the same day I received it. It must have been defective. The sound was so bad!!! I mean really, really bad.

Love this throwback boom box! Also the ability to let our family push the next song button is a game changer! Great sound quality and loudness!

My son lives it even takes it to the bathroom for showers lol

Review of: **AIWA Portable Boombox - Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, Rechargeable Wireless Boombox with Multi Color LED Lighting and Digital Display, AUX Input and Carry Handle, 15 Hour Playtime**The Good:-Sound quality is pretty good, whether at low or high volume levels.-Bass boost kicks up the low end pretty well without getting too "boomy"-Easy to carry with the built in handle-Really like having easy access to volume knob on the front-Lights can be turned off completely if you're not looking for a party-Controls on top can play/pause, forward and advance-Lights are not only on the front speakers, but side-facing speakers too-Can be charged easily with standard USB-C cable (included) and any standard USB charging brick (5V)The Bad:-The sound gets muddy when turned all the way to max-On the lowest volume setting, it still isn't quiet enough for some situations. (it could use one lever quieter)-When you turn it off (and on), it announces this event with a loud male voice that doesn't seem to have an option to turn off. And it's even loud if you have the volume set very low - kind of annoying.-You have to hold the power button for several seconds to turn it on or off. Not just a long press, a REALLY long press.-The battery level accuracy seems very suspect. I first charged it overnight (it came with around 80% charge), and it only showed 90% charged. Then, after using it for about 5-10 minutes, it indicated 50% charge. This seemed very odd so I turned it off and on and it then indicated 100% charge. Hopefully this gets more consistent and accurate with time.-Some of the display options are useless, like continuing to show "BLUE" anytime you are playing music via BT.The Bottom Line:While it is far from perfect, this is definitely a solid portable speaker, and the fact that it is waterproof is great if you want to use it at the beach, around a pool, or in my case, sitting on the edge of a hot tub. I could really do without the lighting rings, but this probably appeals to many users. Is it worth the $150 price tag? If you want a good sounding portable speaker that can handle the environment (water, rain, etc), this is a pretty solid option, if not the ultimate best in audio quality.

Don't buy Aiwa products. All there products are junk. My exos 9 is a brick and company won't cover or fix. Don't offer replacement battery for unit . Save your money
