This light is feature rich with the remote. However, the first remote would lockup and wouldn't work until it was reset by reinstalling the batteries. That was annoying and not easy since unlike standard American products with a pull ribbon in the battery compartment, a small screw driver or other instrument was needed to pry the batteries out. I contacted the company through Amazon and they quickly sent out a new remote. So far, I haven't had to reset the new remote.And then figuring out how to program the light was challenging. Firstly, to program the light, you have to set every parameter whether or not you want to use a particular parameter or the light will not program. Secondly, you have to make sure the light flashes or the light has not recognized a button push. Once you understand the first and second rules, the light programs easily. Now that I understood this and successfully programmed the light, I'm happy because it works the way I want it to work!The light is bright. And, it was the only light of it's kind that had all the features of this light: 120 volt with a plug ready to go, dimmable, remote controlled, and motion sensor. Now I can walk into the garage and have the light automatically come on, easily sense motion without being too sensitive, and then turn off quickly when I leave. It works great!I couldn't find the right size eyelet on Amazon so I had to make a trip to the hardware store to find the right size. And, I barely found the right size at the hardware store. It's not a heavy light, so a huge eyelet is not required. I just need a small one and I had trouble finding one that was neither too small or too big. But, I finally did and got it hung! I wish that was an option when purchasing it...

Hung it today in my garage (not a big garage) to replace one from another manufacturer that had a pull cord switch that kept failing (50% rate). So I'm trying this one - so far so good. Put the motion sensor in it works great!!I will post updates on this product so check back in a week or so.Two weeks later - Had the timer set to 20 min once the light came on with the motion sensor worked good for a whlie - Now DOES NOT WORK dropped one star.

These are great and the remotes work well from floor. We have 6 and don't have a problem controlling each separately from the ground 18' away. The motion detection works really well. However if you have dogs or cats they will turn on the lights even on the lowest setting 18' away.

I love that it lights up my garage. Now I can see what I’m doing. Before we only had a small light. Now I have more light when I get home late in the evening.

Mine was missing the remote control which is why I chose this light.

Didn’t work out well for a 2 day attached garage. Better off with a 8ft tube light

The light is very bright, with a good durable design. The remote control does not work. This is the second light they have delivered. The first one did the same thing. If you are looking for a light you can just plug in and you have a light switch to control the light. This will be a good product. If you are like me, looking for a light with a remote control to control the light. This product will not be a good choice. The plug in is hard to reach on the ceiling. The remote is a must.

Replaced a motion sensor two tube fixture and this is much brighter. However I have noticed it seems to react to shadows created by cars passing by.
