HJ-LOX 15A Plug In Thermostats Heating Cooling Temperature Controller White 120x63x33mm

I first used one of these to replace a thermostatic controller on an expensive propagator. Rather than dispose of said unit fitting one of these solved the problem and actually gave more control to the device. By simply holding down the middle button you can switch between control for a chiller plant or set it for heating. The LED indicator glows green when in chiller mode and red when in heating mode. I purchased a second device to control a heat/chiller plant used in a conservatory. The minimum heat on the heating was 17C but adding this unit made it possible to bring that down to a lower temperature thus saving money on a room unused in winter but containing frost sensitive plants. I now have another to do the same in the greenhouse. The long sensor lead makes it ideal for this purpose giving the ability to monitor the temperature away from the power source. Simple, accurate and reliable as far as my experience goes.

Worked good for about 1 week but now it’s not turning on my heater!! Have tried everything but just not kicking in when the temperature gets right

Very easy to set and seems to be very acurate

Will work once, to switch on a second time you have to unplug and plug in again which defeats the whole objective.

The label over the control buttons were upside down. I've managed to peel it off and restick it back correctly. Is there no quality control? I'm yet to try it.

So easy to set up and use so far.Using with an electric blanket to control home brew because heating wires tend to get too hot & only in one area. Fingers crossed.

This item is useless as i purchased to control heating in an 8x6 solar side greenhouse but would never switch on at required temperature would never recommend lost all my plants in one overnight frost seller has never replied to email sent via Amazon
