Q: How long does it take to dry without heat lamp?

It will not dry. Gels need to be cured to dry.

Q: How long do you have to use the uv light to set? Do you do it for each layer of polish or just at the end?

Try 60-120 seconds depending on the strength of your uv light. Please cure between layers or you are just smearing things.

Q: Do you need a gel top coat?

I would definitely recommend a gel topcoat because after you apply the product the nails will have a slightly gritty texture. Adding the topcoat gives the nail a smooth and clean texture for a nice finish.

Q: Rainbow effect? in the the product photos i can see the rainbow effect. when i look at customer photos i don't see the rainbow affect.
