SILVERHOOK Ceramic Grease Tub 500g

Used for my car & did the job very well...! I think I used it for my cam cover, but I've used it for a couple of things. I've no doubt it'll outlive me...! Lol

I have long been a fan of copper slip on threads, especially on my motorbikes which are outside in all weathers, but copper is a poison and also it can be so very messy and in my experience the oil separates a lot. I bought this a few days ago after hearing good things about ceramic grease as a replacement for copper slip and an effective anti-squeal coating for the back of brake pads and I have to say I am impressed so far. It adheres well to the rear of brake pads and the other places I have used it and seems so very much less messy than other greases. This large tub is also so very much cheaper than buying little tubes too. I might use little pots to take it out to work on the bikes though because unlike the other greases I have there is no plastic cover inside to protect the bulk of the grease from contamination. The other one I was considering was the Granville one, but the screw-on plastic lid here is so very much easier to remove than the metal lids, so I think I made the right choice :-)
