I bought one of these years ago for my first born and she adored it. "Birdie" as we knew him was an integral part of coordination development and role play. Eight years later, "Birdie" has returned (much to the delight of my first born!) to help our new born have the same fun and development. Excellent quality and the bright colours make a fun character. The kids love the squeaker in the beak. I might be looking into another product from the same company for interaction and just fun shows.

Very colourful, well made puppet with lovely loud squawk! A welcome addition to a family of English Puppet Company puppets. Tremendous fun and lots of opportunities for learning and language development.

My 18 month old loves her squeaky, large and colourful bird. She feeds him with her toy bottles which is cute. We’ve not noticed any shedding. Good quality toy!

We play with the dog and unlike all her dog toys she hasn't ripped it apart which says its sturdy quality.Got a squeaker in the mouth and much bigger than you would thinkGreat value

Love this colourful big bird. I didn’t realise that when your hand is placed in its beak - it crows! So I took this out. Lovely soft material.

I am completely in love with this puppet - probably more so than my one-year old for whose first birthday we bought it! Firstly, it's worth saying that it's rather big, but that's no problem for us (my husband, having thought it was pricey when I bought it, took it back when he saw the size of it!) and it's certainly good value. It's incredibly bright and colourful and great for children. I did notice that if you pull hard at the fluff then it can come off so I wouldn't encourage smaller children biting and chewing on it but it's brilliant now for storytelling and my daughter is completely enchanted by it and beams whenever I bring it out. The 'squawker' inside the beak is also fantastic so you can pretend the puppet is talking to your child which is great for interaction. All in all, a delightful puppet from which I know we will get a lot of use and years of play.

Lovely puppet I did get it when on special offer so very good value full price would be a bit expensive having said that it’s lovely really well made and bright and colourful

Marionette achetée pour l'anniversaire de mon neveux de 3 ans. Elle a fait son effet, tous les enfants présents ont voulu la voir bouger et parler !J'ai été surprise par sa taille assez imposante lorsque je l'ai reçue, mais les enfants ont adoré et c'est le principal.Par contre c'est une marionette à faire bouger par un adulte pour amuser les enfants. Un enfant en bas age ne pourra pas la faire bouger tout seul car elle est trop grande.

Es muy bonito y manejable. Tiene mucha expresividad. Desde luego llama la atención de los niños cuando aparece.Su tamaño es perfecto para un brazo adulto, quizás para niños es un poco grande. Tiene un acolchado en la parte de la “barriga” que hace que no se deforme al manejarlo.La bocina de la boca viene dentro de una bolsita que se puede descoser para sacarla cuando toca lavarlo.Es el segundo que compramos porque el primero nos gustó muchísimo y no nos han decepcionado. Ahora tenemos dos, un “chico” y esta “chica”La única pega es pierde algo de pelo.
