Absolutely love this phone case
I will start by saying that I have been a strong supporter of the otter box defender series cases for around a decade. Over the last couple of phones I've owned I've noticed the things I loved about it go away. Yes, it did keep my phone from breaking which is great, but I've had to replace them about once a year bc it would break, usually the hard plastic part but also the outer rubber case, so... I decided a change was in order. I searched through many reviews and decided on this caseborne case was the way to go. I was worried at first to try something different but I have not been disappointed yet. I've been using the case for a few months now, and like usual, I've dropped my new phone countless times and it's still in like new condition. The things I love about this case are: 1) The fact that it also has the 2 part case (an inner and outer part). It goes on pretty simple. The only part I had a tiny bit of trouble was with the camera lense covers but that's more my fault than a defect or issue. There was a little sticky that can hold it in place for you to place the other cover over it without it moving but I didn't want to use the sticky and held it in place with my fingers so it took a few tries to get it in line. But for those of you unlike me and my picky little quirks, this shouldn't be an issue. 2) I like that it has a lip that extends over the screen so that when it falls screen down, as long as it's not sharp, jagged rocks, it won't let the screen hit the ground. So even though there isn't a screen protector, it protects the screen with this lip. 3) I also love the corners. They have a little extra thickness which makes me feel safer bc dropping a phone on its corner can be a total disaster as well but this added touch just puts a little more space between your phone and whatever it lands on when dropped. 4) Another nice little addition is the kickstand on the back of the case. For watching videos hands free, this comes in handy. Just pop it out and stand the case up either vertical or horizontal. 5) The place where the charger plugs in has a little cover when not in use to keep dust, dirt or debris out of your charging port which is a nice feature. And it goes right into place when I unplug the charger. As opposed to the other phone case I used previously where repeated use made that rubber piece end up tearing and not working, this one seems very durable and the material seems very well made. I got the purple and love the fun color bc it matches my phone, even though you can't see my phone, I like that you can chose something other than just black. It is just a fun extra choice to have optional colors. I think it's a great value. You don't want to spend a small fortune on a case but enough to ensure you protect your almost $1000 phone, this price was a great fit and cheaper than the competition. I'm very satisfied with my choice to get this case and I've gotten complements on its design by a couple people already. If you're looking for a reasonable priced case that protects you phone, get this case.

Very rugged, sharp-ish TPU edges
I evaluated 4 rugged cases for my Samsung S23: Supcase UB Pro, Caseborne, Poetic Spartan and ExoGuard. All have rugged protection with cushioned corners and deep bezels front and back. All sit fairly flat on their backs on a desk and feel solid when installed. Here are brief summaries of each, with dimensions in inches. Supcase Beetle UB Pro: Best overall for me. Thinnest (not by a lot), best for edge swipes, comfortable edges, good buttons, decent grip, historically proven good protection, looks great. Metallic finish is super cool, but not sure how it will hold up since it’s some kind of coating. Has enough bezel clearance around a glass screen protector as long as the protector is well-centered, I installed it with the Supcase bezel in place. Height: 6.19 Width: 3.21 Thickness: .580 ends, .540 sides Caseborne: Best overall rugged protection, although with a weirdly huge camera cutout. Fantastic grip and buttons. But, strangely sharp edges on TPU make for ear discomfort; that and the shape of the front bezel make edge swipe gestures less reliable, a little frustrating. Not sharp as in a cut hazard, but kinda catches the finger and digs the ear. Seems even bulkier than it is because the angles (chamfers) around the edges are steeper. Looks good, solid color plastic looks OK, not as cool as metallic, but won’t ever wear or scratch away. My second choice. Height: 6.17 Width: 3.30 Thickness: .610 Poetic Spartan: Coolest looking, very good overall, EXCEPT screen opening was exactly the same size as the glass screen protectors I bought. Not bigger to allow clearance, not smaller to definitively overlap, the same size which would lift the edges of the protector. Weird design oversight IMHO, and a fatal flaw if you use a glass screen protector. Metallic finish is super cool, but not sure how it will hold up since it’s some kind of coating. Height: 6.22 Width: 3.25 Thickness: .600 ExoGuard: Lower cost and quite good overall. But noticeably just a bit lower quality, buttons stiff and mushy. Bezel opening was a little sketchy on how it would fit with a glass screen protector, odd because it comes with one. No charge port flap. Solid color plastic looks OK, not as cool as metallic, but won’t ever wear or scratch away. Height: 6.14 Width: 3.17 Thickness: .600

GREAT case. Couldn't be happier.
Every couple years when we get new phones I search for a good case. Often end up ordering a few different ones before I am happy. In the past I have had Otterbox (okay) and UAG (loved them but pricey) and some Spigen (solid), etc. This Caseborne/Armadillo Tech might be my favorite case yet. It is rugged and adds some bulk for sure but very protective. Good cushioning. Nice raised bevels around all four sides of screen and nice, deep camera lens well on the back. The buttons work flawlessly with easy pressure. Kickstand has come in handy. My wife is brutally tough on her phones. Always tough to get a case that protects her phone. This Caseborne is the answer. Very happy with them. For the price they are a bargain. Same or better protection than cases more than double the price. These will be our go to moving forward.

Sturdy case but flimsy stand
I really like the protection this case provides. It is made from quality materials. The only thing I don't love is the kickstand. The tabs that support the kickstand are not sturdy and broke, but I can still use it.

Better than OtterBox. There. I said it.
Besides looking GREAT - I got the purple one to compliment my new lavender Galaxy S23 - this feels great in my hand. Not too heavy or too grippy/gummy. Just right. Feels substantial and secure. The button covers are perfect and work as they should. One of their mottos on the box is, "It's okay to drop your phone." Heh. I'll try not to but the quality of this case makes me feel like it'll be alright if I do. And, the price is right so if I want to get a different color for funsies (Orange!) it won't break the bank. Two for the price I've paid for one of the aforementioned brand.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this product over others because it was sold by a small company and the cost Grip: the grip is great with the edges being rubbery The quality is good and seems to be sturdy

Decent case
The case does its job and protects the phone. The pop out kick stand is kind if cheap and will eventually fail but all and all a decent case.
