Excellent book a must for all flash fans.

I bought this for myself as a treat but it would also make a good present for a fan. The choice of scenery, costumes and props covered is good and the text interesting. There is an explanation of where the various designers got their ideas and how the visual effects (VFX) team created flame, ice and so on. The book covers characters and items from the first two series, so if you haven't finished watching these (like me), there are spoilers. It's a good way of recapping the different villains and scenes (I watched the DVDs in a hurry because I liked the show so much that, fittingly, it was rather a blur). The reason it doesn't get fives stars is that the photos are not in particularly high resolution. Yes, I DO put my reading spectacles on to look at it, and the text heading boxes (that's probably not the correct printing/publishing term) are lovely and sharp, whereas the images are not quite of the clarity I would expect. Also, the colour in the photos is rather dull, as if they were running out of ink; but clearly they weren't as the colour in the headings/logos etc is lovely and bright.

Awesome book with loads of pictures and all sorts of details about the show! This makes for an awesome gift for a fan or, like I did, a great personal treat to complement my fandom over this TV series!! Would totally recommend!
