great message
This is a lovely story. I was impressed by the fact that it was all in rhyme, but the deeper message is what really makes it shine.

Every Muslim child needs this book!
Every single Muslim who goes to public school needs this book! The story is 100% relevant! I love the rhyming words and how I was at the edge of my chair until the end. Beautifully written and the message is GOLD!

Perfect Ramadan or Eid gift!
My daughter has been having difficulties with fitting into school, and the story in this book is perfect for navigating the feelings of loneliness and isolation. Our young children are in turmoil with how to ensure their Muslim identity takes importance over all things. What I loved about this story was that having such difficulties is a part of growing up; that Allah (SWT) is forgiving and merciful; and the importance of having good friends who accept you for who you are. The illustrations are beautiful. This is a story that is needed for our young children. It would make the perfect gift!

Wonderful, relevant story for Muslim children growing up in the modern world.
I bought 3 copies. 1 for a small school we run in Somalia and one for each of my sons. The language is fantastic and challenging in all the right ways for children who are confident readers. But even younger children can really benefit from the pictures as the illustration work in great too. Really nice book maashaa'Allah.
