More than I needed
It’s beautiful and has so much info in the front of it. I didn’t even realize I bought a whole school planner but I love it. Colors are very vibrant too

Compact planner with loads of extras
I'm retired and live in a university town, so an academic calendar year meets my needs better than the January-December style. I love this planner! The covers look to me like lightweight cardboard covered with a plastic layer, about the same weight as most spiral bound notebooks for students plus the water-resistant coating. There are 17 sheets of study tips and reference materials that I'm very impressed with -- US and global maps, periodic table, diagram of human skeleton, metric and US measurement units, and much more. The study tips explain why the tip works, instead of just saying "do this." I expect to use a lot of the reference material in my adult life. Then there are two pages for repeating "First Semester" and "Second Semester" schedules by day of the week. The columns are Monday-Friday, no weekend. There are 15 lines per day, and you fill in the time ranges yourself, so plenty of room for before- and after-school activities such as rehearsals or practices. There is no schedule for summer school, or for trimester/quarters schedules. (I'm using them for the two weather seasons in Wisconsin: Winter and Construction. For example, I take my daily walk in the afternoon in Winter, when it's warmer and people have had time to shovel off the sidewalks. I take my daily walk in early morning in Construction season (spring/summer/fall) when the temperatures are cooler.)Then there are one-month-per-page calendars from August through July, with a Goals For the Month list for each month. There are lines for seven goals each month and a checkbox for when each is completed. The weekly planner pages start with the week of August 1 (and any July days in that week). There are six "blocks" per day with four lines each, Monday-Friday, and a single block of four lines each for Saturday and Sunday. There's a short tip for each week, room for three weekly goals, and an eight-line block for "Don't Forget!" These are all for short descriptions, just a few words, not the details. There is a month page for July but no weekly pages. The planner comes with a small ruler/bookmark made of the same material as the covers, showing six inches on one side and 13 cm on the other. It pops on and off the spiral binding and has a "Today" tab at the top. I moved it to each week to test durability, and it was still working (although a little fluffy on some edges) at the "end of the year." However, I'm pretty easy on my stuff so the bits that pop onto the spiral binding might not last the year for most people. It would still work well as a loose bookmark. Then at the end, there's a bound-in page of dot stickers for tests, study, gym, games, midterms, final exam, and paying bills.(I'll be using the test/exam stickers for medical appointments and screening tests, and games stickers for concerts/plays/parties in my social schedule.)I think this is an excellent planner for a student or adult. Its design promotes organization for the user, and helps get you in the habit of being concise-but-clear, which is a useful lifelong skill. It's chock full of extras (far too many for me to describe here). The only flaw for me is the lack of July -- there's a month page but no weekly pages. Otherwise, I think it could be easily adapted to include summer school, trimester, or quarterly schedules. It's been a long time since I was a teenager, but I think there are enough lines in various places for a very busy academic and social life.

Nice Planner, Calendar Boxes Very Small
My daughter is starting middle school next school year and I wanted to get her a planner so she can keep her schedule straight and write down her homework, tests, etc. I liked the smaller size of this so it's easy for her to fit in her school bag. The planner is very nice - the cover is laminated cardstock basically so prone to bending and is spiral bound so it's easy to fold the pages over, tear out a page, or turn the page. I was really impressed with all the extras in the front of the planner: study skill tips, internet safety tips, commonly misspelled words, math and algebra skills, solar system, table of elements, branches of government, and much more. There are calendar pages, but the boxes on the calendars are super tiny, you can only fit one or maybe two things in it if it's written really tiny. There are also weekly columns for each month with more space, which is probably where you'd write the homework or tests down. Overall, this is a nice planner that she'll get lots of use out of.

Seems fragile
Got this for a middle schooler to use and it's cute and colorful and the interior is organized well to help keep classes and assignments organized. However the covers and the interior pages themselves are all a bit thin and seem kind of flimsy. For something geared to both a younger group (middle to high school) and as an item that's going to be used basically daily I don't see how this is going to make it for the whole school year without getting wrecked. For the price that could be a deal breaker! I did get this through the Vine program but would not have paid more than $8 for the quality of the item.

Good planner option for homeschoolers!
This is a decent planner but the quality may not be what I expected for the price. This is like a small notebook except with plastic binding and cover. It should withstand use though. I really like the add ins such as Goal Setting, Study Skills, Tips for Exams, Internet Safety, English tips, Geography, Math, Science (including the periodic table of elements, and Social Studies. We ordered these planners for our kids to record their daily work for our homeschool records. I appreciate this planner does not list out subjects. Instead it is blank so you can personalize it how you wish! There is a place for the student to write down weekly goals, a new vocab word each week, and some tips. This is a nice planner for added learning even in the planner itself! I do wish it started in July for homeschool families who may start the year earlier and not spend as much time on a typical summer break! Overall, its a nice planner we will be using!

Lots of information in a handy place. Beware THIN cover!!
I absolutely want to give this planner 5 stars but the cover was super disappointing. It's very thin and will not hold up to a year in a high schoolers backpack. Get some sort of sleeve or try and protect it somehow because what's inside is absolutely a win!The tips are super relevant. The organization of daily assignments is good. The blank subject spots are a plus. Fill in what is relevant. The info pages in the beginning touch on so many subjects and are going to be very handy! My bummer con is the space to write the assignment is SUPER small!!!! This will be tough for lots of kids. I'm hoping we can come up with a system of using it for an abbreviation of the assignment. Like "paper due" for English, "work sheet" for math ect

Great planner for middle schoolers
Got this for my daughter who is starting middle school in the fall. It includes additional references such as math formulas, periodic table, study tips ect. I like that the planner starts in June which allows my daughter to learn how to use the planner during the summer months. The space for daily task is not huge but enough for middle school.
