Works great even for Aquatic Plants
I'm using the growing light for aquarium plants. My plants were in a south facing window but were not getting enough light, they were turning yellow and dieing. The fitst day I used this growing light the plants turned green and are looking healthier. Hope this helps others looking for info on lights for aquariums.

Plants seem to like it (seedlings) - throws good light with moderate heat
So i have only used this to experiment with some pepper seedlings (10X10 half-flat) and so far the little guys seem to really like the light this puts out. I run a small desktop USB fan on the seedlings to strengthen them and that negates the heat this puts out, I would possibly be concerned without the fan though as it would likely be too warm to have close enough to baby plants without issues.THAT said, once I up-pot the seedlings i plan to try this over one of my pauladariums, I really like the spectrum it puts out and i believe it would be the perfect balance of spectrum and output for the emersed plants to thrive. For the price, I really haven't found many better options that don't have more drawbacks than they are worth so i am going to go ahead and give a SOLID 4 stars with that actually pushing 5 stars providing You are aware that it DOES put out some heat. THAT said, with output comes heat, so that's not a design flaw or anything, just something to be aware of.

Keeps My Spider Plants Alive All Winter
My spider plants have to come in for the winter, as they cannot handle anything below 45° F/7°C, and due to the lack of direct sunlight in my home, they require some happy artificial sunlight to stay alive and well. I found this bulb to do the trick quite well, with nice full-spectrum lighting without getting too hot. Well-pleased!

Perfect for my hanging house plant
I have this a few feet above my hanging plants that don't get really any sun. This has been perfect for them. I have it on for a out 6 hours a day and it's perfect. Puts out very little heat, and fits anywhere a regular bulb does.

Bright white light…grow support TBD.
My girlfriend likes to plant and grow vegetables. During spring season, the table in front of my south-facing kitchen window is covered in seed planters…so I ordered this light for her for the overcast days (and nights).- Like a typical incandescent bulb, there is a noticeable heat radiating from the front of the bulb. (back of hand test).- The aluminum casing gets “ hot to the touch” after a few minutes of use, but since the housing is designed to dissipate heat from the lamp, this is likely intentional.- The design on the light shines the light-beam “forward-facing” only, but a little bit of distance from the lamp provides a broad light footprint.- To view it, it just looks like a bright white light…so time will tell on whether it fosters growth when consistently shined on plants.

Good Product!
I like this product! It comes in good packaging and well protected. The construction of this product feels strong and well made. I feel like it is something that you can use often and not have to worry about it breaking down or failing any time soon! I was able to find many different use cases in my home for this item. I am using this to grow Bonzai trees, so far so good! I would recommend this product!
