Great Thematic Bases
Very glad GW released these. Along with the Necromunda bases, these work well for Kill Teams such as the Elucidian Starstriders and the Breachers. Only downside is the price, but that comes with the territory.

Great kit for basing miniatures, but expensive.
I recently picked up a lot of science fiction themed miniatures, and I needed a kit to base them quickly. This set is perfect to show the ruins of a starship or dystopic cityscape. It comes in various size bases for a good range of miniature sizes, and the different types of destroyed machines and twisted metal you can add works very well, as you can see from the pictures I added of a few recent miniatures I painted. My only gripe is the price. As usual, Games Workshop costs twice as much as comparable products from other companies. It's a nice kit, but there are cheaper options out there that produce comparable results.

So many bits
While this has been great bases for my navy breachers, there are so many bits that I don't know what to do with.

Bases have high levels of detail — and minis don’t like staying glued to them
These bases are nice, almost over designed in some regards. The 25mm and 28mm bases are simple resized duplicates — the 32mm bases aren’t.Depending on the mini and the base in question, they won’t fit together. I’ve used citadels plastic glue, I’ve used the Tamiya plastic cement, nothing keeps minis on some of these bases except prayers — and more glue than should be necessary. You also get a bunch, like no shortage, of bits and greeblies for decorating the bases, or what I did, decorating a set of Kill Team Into the Dark terrain.
