74" Pro Video Tripod with Fluid Head

I’ve been using the NEEWER 74" Video Tripod for several months now, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. Whether I’m shooting for my YouTube channel, doing product videos, or capturing some creative shots, this tripod has become a key part of my setup. I love that the movement is smooth and precise, giving me professional-level footage. The fluid damping feature ensures that the transitions between movements are soft and stable, which is essential for video work. This tripod has been a fantastic addition to my gear. Well worth the price. The pan tension adjustment has nice range. I wish the tilt got a little stiffer but still good range of adjustment. The lockdown screws are spring loaded so you can pull out on them to adjust out of the way after tightning (see photos). This was a nice feature I havent previously read about on this. Was planning on using this as a backup to my older tripod but it just might be my main go to. Came with Alen wrenches for various uses. The legs on my other tripod needed tightning to firm up the triod on occasion, this comes with the needed tools for future maintainance. Hoping it lasts! I read the reviews and some stated the head unscrews from the base during operation. This is a 2 piece head. the first piece id the bowl to flat mount adapter that attachesto the tripod. Then you have the tripod head that attaches to that. The 2 pieces screw together but if not tight, they will unscrew. all you need you need to do is tighten the nut on the bottom (shown in my photo) and problem solved.a 12mm wrench or adjustabl wrench will snugit up.

This tripod is a game changer. The independent control over the pan an tilt really makes a difference. Took up plane spotting as hobby recently. Planes move pretty fast, especially the closer you get and the more you zoom. This really makes a difference over the tripods you find on Amazon at a bit lower price, but without the pan and tilt controls mentioned above. This supports the weight of a Sony camera and a 200-600 lens just fine. It could be a tad more sturdy when your not doing much movement with it. That could be due to a pretty long heavy lens and not having it balanced just right though. And if your zoomed max on a 600 mm lens. It doesn't take much movement to get some jitter in the video. I don't do much photography with it, but it seems quite fine when I'm using it for that. I like the clip releases on the legs much better than the screw locks many have. The quick release plate on the head is also very nice. Taking a camera with a large lens off an on sometimes frequently doesn't seem like a chore. It's simple enough to do that I don't feel like if I'm not super careful I may drop the camera. I highly recommend this tripod over the some of the ones at a bit lower price point. I have one of those, not as smooth by any means. I have never used a high end video tripod. This isn't one of course, but with this I really feel like I have control of the movement speed and resistance to jerky movement.

Normally I love Neewer products and have a bunch of their gear, but this tripod/fluid head combo is garbage. The tripod itself is fine, but the adjustable pan/tilt dampening is completely worthless on this fluid head. The pan dampening sticks very bad so that when you go to start panning, you get a very noticeable bump in the video footage. You have to loosen the dampening almost all of the way to get rid of the sticking. The tilt dampening isn't a while lot better either. You can feel and even sometimes hear a popping when trying to tilt as you're filming. Thankfull though their isnt any sticking like when you pan. What a complete waste of money and this fluid head will definitely wind up in the garbage. I've had to go back to using a cheaper non adjustable fluid head and tripod for now until I can order something much better - ironically the cheaper tripod/fluidhead that I'm using ia also a Neewer but it works so much better than this one - unfortunately the only downside to this fluid head is its panning/tilt is non-dampening

I was hesitant to buy at first. I had looked into some of the other well known brands and was wondering if Neewer could be as good as any of the other brands. Im glad I took the change. I have fallen in love with this tripod. It is strong and sturdy. It has great features. I feel confident using this video tripod. Totally recommended.

Really Like this Tripod and brand. As someone who needs equipment that can travel easy and not be afraid of damaging it or losing it Neewer is as good a brand as small rig. This tripod is easy to setup, is able to accommodate DJI Gimbal mounts as well. It has a simply to setup design, is fairly light weight and is very durable. The type of head mount makes it easy to adjust. For the money it's a great tripod

J'ai été tenté par un pied lourd parce que les deux autres sont considérés comme des trépieds légers. Malgré que l'un des deux soit un Manfroto, aucun des deux n'était capable de supporter ma machine de zoom ultime. J'ai donc un Nikon D5000 avec trois objectifs dont deux jusqu'à 300 mm. Et mon autre appareil, c'est le monstre mondial du zoom...le Nikon P1000 24-3000 mm. Il me fallait impérativement un trépied qui ne tremble pas et qui possède une stabilité infaillible surtout au niveau des très grandes distances. Le Neewer TP75 est l'exacte réponse si vous voulez de la très bonne qualité suédoise alliée à un prix ridicule quand on compare un pied semblable chez Manfroto justement. A ce que je sache c'est le meilleur achat que vous puissiez faire dans cette gamme de prix et de qualité. Le pan et le tilt sont absolument sublimes de douceur si vous le voulez. Mon P1000 fait 1,5 kg à lui tout seul et je pourrais ajouter d'autres éléments tel qu'un écran un bras articulé ou deux. Ce pied est génial ne vous en privez pas.

This tripod is very well made from good quality materials making it very stable as you would expect from Neewer. The quick release locks for the legs are strong and reliable, and the fluid head really is unbelievably smooth making long telephoto shots very easy to set up, and the panning action is super silky. The tripod is supplied with an extremely good quality carrying bag which provides excellent protection during transit. It's relatively heavy, which is a trade-off against strength and stability, so it may not be your first choice to take on landscape expeditions, but otherwise, you can be sure your expensive equipment will be safely supported.

Recomiendo absolutamente este trípode para videógrafos y fotógrafos. Los materiales y la construcción se sienten rígidos y de muy buena calidad. El manejo es fácil y los movimientos muy suaves. Yo lo he utilzado con un telefoto Canon 70-200mm f:2.8 montado a una cámara Canon 6D Mark II y me ha dado excelentes resultados en tomas de vídeo. Llegó muy bien empaquetado y protegido. No dudes en comprarlo.

Pour le prix, c'est le seul trépied semi-pro qui offre à la fois l'amortissement réglable de l'axe vertical (tilt) et de l'axe horizontal (pan). Parfait pour un lent panoramique avec un départ et un arrêt tout en douceur lorsque l'amortissement est haut, ou pour un suivi rapide lorsque l'on relâche le frein hydraulique. Sur l'axe vertical, la platine revient toute seule à l'horizontale selon le réglage. On peut bien sur bloquer la tête dans une certaine position et l'utiliser de façon statique. Certains diront qu'elle a tendance à se griper au bout d'un certain temps d'immobilité, et c'est vrai, mais ce n'est que passager et tout revient à la normale rapidement. La tête en elle-même est vraiment fluide. La plaque de dégagement rapide est légère et pratique. Le trépied dispose de tous les réglages nécessaires pour être utilisé dans toutes les conditions, et il faudra prendre le temps de les maîtriser pour le conformer à ses désirs et arriver au bon résultat. Il ne suffit pas de poser le pied et filmer, c'est d'ailleurs ce que l'on recherche en achetant ce type de produit. La construction est de bonne facture, les éléments en plastique sont résistants, les tubes en alu ne plieront pas facilement. Chaque pied se déplie aisément, et on peut même régler la résistance à la friction pour éviter un déploiement trop rapide ou non voulu. Contrepartie, le trépied n'est pas un modèle de légèreté, mais le prix n'est pas non plus le même que pour une version en carbone, et c'est très acceptable, d'autant qu'un sac de transport de bonne qualité est fourni. Au final, le trépied vaut largement le double du prix auquel il est vendu si l'on compare aux autres marques. La tête fluide est à elle seule exceptionnelle pour ce prix, il faudrait débourser le montant du trépied complet pour avoir une tête équivalente ailleurs. Un excellent investissement.
