These work. I like casual cooking and I needed a new set of knives that were good enough quality to fit my needs. I can owe this color and man it really is the better color. I really hope these do hold up over time. The weight is perfect, the set has every type of knife you might need. Dish Washer safe and tested (great through 5 washes at least!) and sharp. The good quality look on top of all that - well worth the price.
