Simple to use pixel tester
I am redoing my light show going to all seed pixels. Instead of having to connect everything to the controller, this helps test pixels in bulk. Once verifying the bulk strings are fine, you can make the lengths as necessary for the display. Before setting up, a quick plug in to recheck they work.You can also use this to power a string of lights in a room or somewhere. There are enough settings on it. It is not the reason I purchased it, but it would be good for a bedroom or game room

works great to control led light rings. You will need a five volt power supply, I use a phone charger supply

Works, but instructions are poor
RGB was not correct. Instructions say to press Auto and then Blue to chance the sequence. In reality you need to HOLD Auto until all the lights are on (not just the first 3 as described) and then use the upper right color button (not really blue on my remote) to set the proper sequence.Otherwise, it works as described.

Faulty
I just had these put up and the controller doesn't work correctly. You can change 8color once and then it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it's beyond the return time frame. I couldn't get it up sooner because of a broken leg so I'll probably have to replace it and pay again!

Discreet controller
I got this for some under bed lighting and I didn’t want a big control box. This has plenty of light patterns and the remote made it so I could hide it since I have no reason to access it regularly. In fact the remote has more capabilities than the minimal button interface on the controller. Very please with the value this item has delivered. Thank you

Apevia Remote Replacement
I had bought this simply for the remote found out online that this one works greatly for the Apevia rgb that you put inside your computer case to control the lighting. I had originally thought my old one had broke. That turn out not to be it. It was just the battery. lol Though the remote does work wonderfully as a replacement no issues. For that I am keeping the second remote as a backup in case I ever loose my original Apevia remote. :)
