Good, with some glitches
Bought two and, with some reservation, will buy two more. Shipping prompt and very well packed. Good luck repacking if you want to return them. Wood seems to be of good quality and well finished. Instructions were clear--both writing and diagrams. Went together quickly and would have been quicker if I had not spent time trying to correct the two issues below.First chair went together without issue. But one of the bottom supports does have a warp so that the dowel from the back support does not drop squarely into any of the three indents on that side. Spent some time trying to square the chair off before looking closely at that piece of wood to find it curved out. So only about one inch of the dowel rests on the bottom support at that side, rather than the two full inches that should. Not a deal breaker--as long as it does not continue to warp. The second chair had a different defect. There are eight "large bolts" that screw into their "large nuts." Those "nuts" are actually female sleeves with allen heads. You screw the allen head bolt into these allen sleeves to hold the base support to the front legs and back support. On the first chair these tightened down snugly. On the second chair they all bottomed out before snugly securing the parts together. There was about 1/16" movement in & out, which gave the front legs a bit of wobble. That wobble would surely increase as time went on.This issue was "solved" by going out and purchasing some washers that I placed on the inside to (partially) conceal them. But it does take away that finished appearance. Either the bolts were all a tad too long, the wood milled a tad too narrow, or (most likely) the milling to recess the heads flush with the wood was a tad too deep. All and all my wife thinks they're "pretty" and we'll keep them. As my father-in-law used to say, "good enough." Woodworking is not always exact and if you're willing to accept some issues like I had you should get a sturdy chair.

Good quality and comfortable
The chairs went together well. All the parts were there. Everything lined up. Good quality control in the manufacturing. We used them all summer by our fire pit and they were great. Easy to move around when it came time to mow lawn and very comfortable. I hosed them down before putting them away for the winter and they still look brand new. I would buy them again.

Look god but don’t hold up well..
I bought 6 of these for our camp site in the mid west in May ‘18. Assembly was ok. Took some time but with 6, about what I expected. The water and weather started effecting the finish on the arm rests almost immediately. I’m now one year out and as I take them out of storage I expect to try sanding and a water seal stain to get them through another couple of seasons. That’s just related to the finish. One of the seat slats broke on one chair within months last season. I figured that was isolated maybe, to a weak slat. Out of storage this season and another slat on another seat broke. No cause I could identify. No one climbing on the chairs, no heavy wear and tear. And mind you we are not large or heavy people. Going to contact the seller to see if they will at least provide replacement parts. Fingers crossed otherwise I should have bought cheaper chairs locally if I was only going to get one full year out of 1/3 of my purchase.

not sturdy
the wood is not very durable. the front slats (where a lot of people naturally "perch" themselves when sitting forward or simply beginning to position themselves to sit all the way back) cannot bear the weight and easily cracks. sitting back in the chair with the weight in the "seat" of the chair, the way it was designed is comfortable. it is nice looking for sure. but, unfortunately, even if you are careful, the front slat(s) will succumb to the pressure of any weight and will crack.the company did send me a new one and paid for me to return the cracked one, but that was a hassle to undo the chair and put it back in the box!

Looks nice but will give you splinters
Nice looking chair, one of the few that offers the adjustable reclining positions. My one complaint is that the wood quality on the arm rests is poor. The surface has thin pieces of wood that have separated from the surface and will definitely give you splinters/cuts if you're not careful. I am not sure how much damage sanding it myself will do to the color and finish but for the price I shouldn't have to finish it myself.

Worth the money ~ well made
Really good chair for the money. Sturdy and pretty solid. Had HUGE issue getting one of the chairs put together (hardware alignment off) but the other three chairs were about 30 minutes each to assemble. Wish the finish was more durable - will need to add a sealer and waterproof but really really happy with this buy of 4 chairs.

Disappointing longevity
I cannot recommend this product. I was unable to get one screw secured, so one leg was always a bit wobbly. But at least it looked great and was useable. But this is what is looked like after 14 months: It didn't even survive a second winter. Perhaps I should have put it away for the winter but I don't remember seeing that advice in the accompanying literature. I'm going to chop it up and use it for firewood. It should have lasted longer.

Best of the best
Not sure why any reviews less than 5 stars. Chair is clean, easy to put together, has a great dark finish, and reclines. Perfect. I stained mine once it came to ensure it can withstand anything weather-wise.
