The SU800's are Adata's faster and more reliable offering. Longer 'potential' lifespan is backed by a longer warranty and comes with Dram cache, this is for a server setup, where the longevity is the most desired attribute. Performance is really good, and neither longevity or performance requirements were going to be met by the SU630's which are fine for lower end machines. Have used Adata before, will use them again, along with the other drives I have used, Crucial, Samsung, WD, not had any premature failures, hence another purchase made.

Superb piece of kit - used this to convert a customers slow and old HDD to new and quick SSD on a macbook pro. Here are the results: HDD - power on to login 1min 29s. SSD - power on to login 13.55s The speed difference, always puts a smile on my face :) A little more expensive than some other SSD'd (not the most expensive) yet it is worth every penny! Dont bother with anything less.

I bought this to upgrade the SATA 3.5 HDD in my AIO touchscreen PC that I’ve converted into a modern jukebox. Being someone who specialises in computing I made sure to test it. On opening the SSD case I found the drive board does in fact have a “Dram Cache” which is better for rapid storage and makes the drive last longer than 1 that is Dram-less, A dram cache isn’t very common on lower price drives so this is excellent since a SSD without a Dram can be slower than a regular old HDD at times. Following a speed test, the speeds were pretty solid and live upto the claims, I also did a health check on the drive and it was good but I noticed the drive had more host reads and writes than I would expect for a brand new drive. (I’ve Included pictures of all my findings). So far, I’m happy with this SSD, it’s made my computer a lot more snappy and it now boots up ready to use in 30 seconds, I guess now only time will tell how good it really is.

Well packaged. Simple to install. This drive has been fitted to 2 laptops and seen 3 operating systems with no issues (I like to test my kit!). If you want cooler operating, faster boot times and much quicker read and write times for files, then this is the upgrade for you. I took out a 1TB HDD and replaced it with this 256GB SSD (seems to be a backward step, but there is method in my madness, I have only installed programs to the SSD and keep all my Data ( MUSIC/PHOTO'S/DOWNLOADS/VIDEO'S/DOCS etc) on the 1TB HDD that is now housed in a USB 3.0 external case. Two advantages to this, 1- a much faster laptop, 2- all my personal files are safe if the main drive goes faulty). Technical note for SSD drives. "TRIM" is available on this drive and is automatically detected by Windows from version 7 onward. How to check TRIM is enabled in your Windows 7/8/10 PC.... Use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin). Type the following command and press Enter: fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify. I recommend this drive.

Have now constructed 2 computers using these as the drives for the operating system. They are very good value for money and give you a superfast startup. Add a mechanical drive for your data and you get speed and capacity. If you haven't tried a SSD yet then this is a good value for money way to start. The size of many laptop drives so try replacing an old mechanical drive and see the difference.

Bought this to replace what I thought was a failing hard drive on my 2012 i5 MacBook Pro which was taking forever to do anything to the point of me not using my laptop. It took about an hour to clone my original hard drive (bought a USB to SATA cable at the same time); and it was a very easy and quick (10 mins max) to swap the drives. Honestly, anyone with a small Phillips screwdriver could do this. The difference in speed is incredible, really snappy performance and very useable again.

Bought to go in a second hand i5 laptop that came without a hdd. I have used Adata ssd's before and find them to be of excellent quality and very competitivly priced. As this drive saturates the laptops sata 2 connection it cannot operate at full speed but the laptop still feels very snappy and boots into Windows10 in less than 30 seconds. Overall I am really pleased with this ssd and would recommend people to buy it.

Amazon provided timely delivery and adequate packaging with their usual air pillows. ADATA's packaging included a plastic tray slid into a reasonably-sized box containing: one SSD, one adapter plate (e.g. used within some laptops to adjust for drive thickness) and one booklet - no drive screws included (generally not required for drive swaps or laptop installations whereby existing screws are often re-purposed). Light in mass (essentially SMT electronics and a flash chip on a PCB housed within a plastic case), the SSD securely mounted into a separately purchased 2.5"/3.5" drive adapter caddy (which came with HDD screws) and easily slid into my legacy desktop's drive bay. It accepted standard SATA power and data cable connections. Turning on my PC and entering BIOS, the new drive was automatically recognized. The drive was readily partitioned and formatted by Windows during a fresh install of W10P64 via DVD ISO. In effort to manage drive space, the SSD was designated as a primary boot drive for my OS and key programs, while user libraries (data and games) were re-directed to a secondary mechanical drive. Although not a race horse in the SSD world, this drive substantially trumped my 7.2k spinners in terms of Windows' initial load time. It also streamlined time frames for web page and program loads. Regarding personal cost/benefit qualitative considerations - it's been a winner for me thus far. Although only owned for a few weeks, my experience has been favorable enough for me to install three more ADATA SSD boot drives into the PC's used by my kids and spouse. Long-term reliability is unknown, but short term boot-time savings has been a pleasure!

2011年11月に購入したThinkpad E420 Edgeが起動しなかったり、起動しても動きがもっさりしてストレス感増大。 Win10にしたのでこれが原因かなと思い、いろいろと対応策を講じたつもりですが改善されず。 そろそろか買い替えかなと思っていたところHDDをSSDに変えれば爆速になるという記事が多々あったので 当方も早速SSDを探しこの製品を購入、レビューは少なかったですがすべて高評価なのでこれをチョイス。 到着したその日に換装作業実施、やり方は事前にネットで調べておいた。 大まかには下記のとおり、やり方はいろいろあるようですので詳細はネットで確認あれ。 ①現在のHDDのバックアップ（当方の場合はCドライブは必要なデータのみ、他のドライブは全データ） ← バックアップは重要です！ ②SSDをSATA-USBケーブルでPCに接続し初期化 ③EaseUS Todo Backup Freeを使ってCドライブのみSSDにクローンを作成 ④PC電源OFFバッテリーを外した後、HDDを外しSSDを取り付ける。 ⑤バッテリーをセットしPC電源ONする。 → Win10が立ち上がりOK ⑥Cドライブ以外のバックアップをレストア やはり早い！のが実感できたので満足、これで数年は延命できた。 気に入って購入したPCなのでできるだけ長く使いたい。 かみさんのPCも（３年使用）そのうち換装する予定です。 !(^^)! 以上、ご参考まで

Ho acquistato questa unità per upgradare il mio portatile, che per quanto abbastanza potente (Acer Aspire 5755G, processore i7 2,2GHz, 6GB di ram nativi portati a 8, upgrade a Windows10) cominciava comunque a sentire il peso dei suoi cinque anni di massacrante servizio... Ho scelto Adata perché mi hanno attirato le sue velocità di lettura e scrittura (560/520 MB/s) analoghe a quelle di un più blasonato Samsung, ma a un prezzo decisamente più accessibile. Si potrebbe dire che ho tentato un "azzardo", ma è andato a buon fine! Il mio pc ora è molto veloce e lavora bene (io ho a che fare con la grafica, e sporadicamente anche con l'elaborazione di video...) Un dato: ora il mio pc dal momento dell'accensione impiega 30 secondi ad essere operativo (inserimento della password compreso...), prima dell'operazione non parliamone... Sono molto soddisfatto e consiglio il prodotto a chi cerca ottima qualità a un prezzo accessibile.

Très facile à installer à la place de l'ancien et, maintenant, 24 secondes, c'est le temps qu'il faut à mon vieux PC Portable (10 ans) pour m'afficher Linux UBUNTU avec ce SSD au lieu des plus de 2 minutes habituelles, et pour le stockage j'ai recyclé l'ancien DD en externe USB. Du coup j'ai racheté une barrette mémoire et je réutilise un PC dont je ne me servait plus à cause de sa lenteur.

Fiable, rapide, pour l'instant pas de problème, très bonne durée de vie, bon achat...
