Excellent. Verry quiet. Marvellous effect. Only problem was that the stove was left at the front door upside down and it was about to rain even though we asked for items to be left in the shed if no answer.

Be aware. Almost impossible to get repaired
Beautiful fire. Incredibly pleased with it. However!!! If it goes wrong you have a massive problem. Dimplex do not repair their fires. The best they can do is send spares (free if under guarantee). I had mine insured privately I loved it so much. Only to find after a year when it did play up the repair company I was insured with were unable to deal with Dimplex fires. From what I can gather, this is the case generally. If it had not been for Amazon honouring my one year gaurentee (even though two days expired) with them I would really be in a pickle now. I have bought a replacement because I was so very pleased with it. But I am now very apprehensive as to what happens if and when it goes wrong again in the future. I guess just be aware when you are buying this.

Lovely realistic very reasonably priced stove.
Prompt delivery. This fire is very simple to set up, and very realistic. The Optimist function is so clever and we have put scented pine cones inside as there is no risk of anything catching fire so it now smells gorgeous as it’s on. It fits beautifully in our conservatory, we bought a slate hearth for it to sit on. Was also an absolute bargain and much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet. Would highly recommend it.

Great effect, didn't work for long
Great when working. Failed inside first week, sadly, customer service not good. Registered on day of delivery with number provided in documents. When calling support number provided with product, was informed wrong dept, different number given. Turns out product had not been registered as assured either. Call operator struggled to understand and diagnose... have now sent email requesting registration and requesting spare part but not hopeful.... Will give it 48 hours and initiate a return for a full refund
