It’s very difficult to find safety glasses to fit around eyeglasses. These fit well and don’t blur vision. I am a geology enthusiast and using UV protective glasses is essential to my use of powerful UV lights for my fluorescent mineral collection. Excellent, very functional for laser epilators

I work in science and needed a replacement pair of glasses for a BioRad imager to extract DNA from gels using blue light. I will testify to the effectiveness of these glasses at filtering blue light. The blue light emitter we use is like a literal laser beam only blasting your with the size of a small window. Seriously, if you put your face over that tray you will feel the heat. When I put these glasses on, I stared at the emitter and genuinely thought it was broken and didn't turn on. I had to take off these glasses, which darn near blinded me, to confirm the light was actually on. These things completely stopped light emission at 488 NM from reaching my eye but let the stoke shift from the DNA die through, allowing me to cut the bands from the gel. Seriously these are effective at least for the 488, nm range.

If youvate going to use them for "at home" laser treatments, they are too dark to see what you are doing.
