It works fine for storing my chicken stock, although I expect a lock and lock to have snap on bits to seal, but the screw thread lid works really well (unless you have problems with your grip to undo it).

I am quite fussy when it comes to containers; I wouldn't go as far as to say that I was a tupperware snob, but I do know my 'Glad' from my 'Ziplock'. Experience over the years (I take my own lunch to work every day), has resulted in countless containers being tossed in the trash and sadly many of my personal belongings being stained with salad dressing and soy sauce. Unfortunately promises of 'leak-proof', 'shatter-proof, 'easy to use', 'easy to clean' are not being kept. I am however, happy to report that the Lock & Lock DOES keep the promises it makes.I tested it, the very next day after it arrive! I used it to transport my soup to work: this meant it was placed in my bag, which was then flung over my shoulder, jiggled along a busy London tube, and then bumped and nudged as I walked the streets on my way to my office. The soup made it, and my bag and personal belongings made it too! Not one spill, or leak, the container and its contents remained safely shut. To say I was pleased would be an understatement, and I can't recommend this container highly enough.Perhaps it's the design that makes it 'leak-proof', because it's a twist top! Gone are my days of clip-top containers, they simply don't hold liquids very well (even with their so-called 'magic' suction power!) The twist lid of the Lock & Lock means its contents remain inside the container and they stay fresh! I have used it in a microwave to warm up my food: passed the test. I have used it to freeze food and liquids: passed the test. I have cleaned it in my dishwasher: passed the test. Although I do recommend giving it a rinse in some warm soapy water before putting it in the dishwasher, as caked-up, dried food is not always a match for a dishwasher. One last added bonus is the capacity measurements; I don't use them myself, but I can imagine it would be really useful for someone on a portion controlled diet - as you can measure exactly how much you're putting into the container.Great container, does the job, highly recommend!

We make enough soup for three days in our Morphy Richards soup maker (bought from Amazon). Each of these containers holds enough soup for two modest portions. Well worth the money.

Love this size , especially with screw lid … I make my daughter cheese sauce , which she will add to her pasta for her family.

Both good and bad - it is certainly leak proof - you can fill it with water and it just doesn't leak. This is great, no worries about making my work bag mucky even with soup for lunch taken to work.The lid doesn't always align perfectly, and frustratingly requires a number of attempts to do it up fully. Most times you are there faffing around with it.Otherwise this is sturdy, looks pretty good, is sensibly sized and does the job nicely.

I use it to hold xylitol. I haven't used it for liquid yet, but I have a feeling that it won't leak because of the o-ring. It is well constructed and the lid stays on tight.

Perfect for soups and sauces.

Die Dose tut, was sie soll und ist in gewohnter LocknLock Qualität.Einzig die Farbe der Dichtung ist anders, als sie auf dem Produktbild abgebildet ist; sie ist rot statt blau. Die Farbe ist hübsch, meinem inneren Monk gefällt das aber weniger 😂

Ich nutze sie zur Arbeit hauptsächlich für meinen Quark/Yoghurt.Mir ist noch nie was ausgelaufen!Suppe hab ich noch nicht transportiert, hätte ich aber auch keine Bedenken. Eintopf funktioniert aber auf jeden Fall gut!Sie kommen immer in die Spülmaschine und auch schon mal in die Micro (ohne Deckel).Nach der Spülmaschine muss ich meist die Dichtungsringe wieder einsetzen, klappt aber auch gut.Einziges Manko nach der Spülmaschine bleiben Wasserflecken, ich bin aber zu faul sie danach noch zu „polieren“.Ich kann sie ruhigen Gewissens Freunden empfehlen und würde sie mir immer wieder kaufen.

Ich habe schon immer gern die Lock and Lock Dosen gekauft. Die Dinger sind einfach langlebig. Besonders gelungen finde ich die Dosen mit dem Schraubverschluss. Ich benutze sie in der Küche, aber auch wenn man mal etwas mit zu Grillen ins Frei mitnehmen möchte ohne Gefahr zu laufen etwas zu verschütten.
