Spiratronics Antistatic Foam Pack

Would have been OK if when the A4 size had been cut to A5 they had used a SQUARE EDGE.I need to cut into sections for I.C.Chip box compartments however lost a complete section owing to the CUTTING being at an angle not 90 degrees.

On the whole you get a reasonable amount for the money; at least compared to other AS-foams on Amazon. My only complaint is that it's roughly cut on the edge so you lose a little bit in having to trim it off.Nothing major but I'm sure with a little more care, a much sharper blade, or just scissors it wouldn't be an issue.

After looking for some polystyrene I could wrap in foil - which I could not find for love nor money - I gave up on that and got with the modern world :)This is the foam that replaces the polystyrene/foil combo us tecchies have used for years for sticking I.C's into. This particular foam is of the highest quality, cuts well and is very self healing - it will last for years.I will not describe it any further - it is anti static foam - you know what this is for if you are thinking of a purchase, I don't think you will be displeased with your order. Note that 1 order gets you 2 pieces of foam - approx 6x4 inches in size, just shy of 1/4 inch thick.Hope this helps fellow Amazoner's...Very Best Regards,Mickey :)

This is the one you need to protect your ic, s ferm and thick enought for pressing ic into it

Really good - you don't get much but it's very conductive.
