Klean Strip Odorless Mineral Spirits 1 Quart

I have this 5 stars because it’s AMAZING. It’s so good at getting wet or dried up oil based paint, varnishes, and stains off of paint brushes and rollers!.. but it’s not odorless at ALL.. it’s got a pretty strong smell.. I knew that before I bought it, but others may not know. Other than that, it’s awesome. It’s easy to use, and it works super fast - even at getting dried paint off of brushes and rollers. It’s pretty versatile.. you can use it for degreasing tools and machinery, getting sticky / adhesive residue off of stuff, cleaning wood to get sanding dust and wax build up off, and you can also use it as a thinner for oil-based finishes to get better spread and penetration.

I’m kidding. It tastes terrible. Kleen Strip sells quality chemicals and these quart containers with the mesh filter under the cap are perfect for around the house or for saving space in your work vehicle. The mesh helps control the flow and stop glugging, while keeping foreign debris out of the can. This is especially important when using a sprayer setup, because anything that gets in the gun can clog it. The packaging is what sells it for me. Comes with a quality metal safety cap with a comfortable and grippy plastic cover. I’ve used so many of these caps, including in a restoration shop with much larger containers and they never fail. Mineral spirits is a commodity. Everyone sells it. Kleen Strip makes it easy and convenient to use, so they get my business.

This is an excellent part cleaning product. Leaves no residue on bearings or cone. The best size for the garage. Easy to use from the can or aluminum cup with a cotton swab. Removes residue best of all drys quickly. Size can valve for money great.

This replaces turpentine in fine art oil painting. A most have for artists.

A true mineral Spirits, not the knock off stuff that doesn’t clean as good. This stuff works great, is truly a low Oder but high cleaning formula. Doesn’t smell bad and cleans great, can’t go wrong here. Good value as well. Pry off cap as well so it will not spill if knocked over and don’t have to worry about children or animals getting in it.

Works pretty well for removing sawdust in between grits. Just needs a few minutes between grits to flash off completely
