AmazonFresh Go For The Bold Ground Coffee, Dark Roast, 32 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I was surprised! This is some great fresh dark bold coffee! I could tell when I opened the vacuum sealed bag, the aroma hit me, it was rich but subtle at the same time, smelled like it wouldn't be too bold, but once brewed (drip machine) it shocked me. It was bold, roasty, and chocolatey. Very smooth and goes well with cream or flavor creams, I tasted it black first, it was really great, for the price paid, I'm very satisfied, I just wish it was 3Lbs for a dollar more, that would be a great value. I added some coconut creamer and a couple pumps of caramel, and this coffee tastes amazing!

Man! Was I tired of trying to figure out what to do with my growing collection of plastic Folgers containers! They do not store in a convenient space saving area until you have enough to make a trip to the recycle point. And for what I paid for Folgers, the flavor was barely acceptable. This is my new coffee of choice. The dark ground coffee has a beautiful life-is-good and mornings-are-tolerable flavor. And this is a good amount for the price. I empty just over 1/2 the bag into the empty last Folgers container I ever bought, and save the rest of the bag in the freezer. Then I nearly fill that canister again when ready. Well worth the price!

4 stars for the price. We drink coffee daily and I drink it black and only have 2-3 cups, tastes matters to me. After a couple weekends past, I found this to be bland. I am a bit spoiled to have a Keurig at work, and the office pays for hoards of flavors. I don't like the waste, so we have a nice machine at home, using recyclable brown paper filters. I had this coffee in my monthly save & subscribe , after receiving 2 bags, I have removed it. But it's a bargain, and we didn't hate it.

Everyone has different tastes. There, I said it. I have lots of coffees and espressos and machines. My friend owns a coffee company and I have tried a lot of stuff. When your household drinks a lot of coffee you can't spend a lot. I like fairly strong coffee and I do like Starbucks coffees, most especially their espresso. I like Green mountain's Dark magic. So with that said, for the money, I think this Amazon coffee is pretty darn good. So far, it's the best bang for the buck I have found. It has a flavor profile really like none I've had. Give it a try if your tastes sound like mine.

Wish they had half stars because while it wasn’t the most AMAZING coffee it was certainly muchbetter than 4/5 stars. Definitely good flavor and was fresh. Great value. I drink a lot of coffee and really enjoyed this. I set up regular shipments and don’t foresee that I’ll stop. My kids now recognize the package and know that daddy is getting his coffee. Better flavor than some of the more expensive coffees out there too. Well worth it.

Hubby bought this for me as a last minute Christmas gift; he said he chose it based on reviews, but my expectations were low. When I opened the bad I was extremely pleased at the spot on fresh coffee smell. Sure enough, the other 5-star reviewers were right. This is hands down my favorite coffee I've ever had and has replaced all other brands in my cabinet. There is no sourness or bitterness, just a smooth great cup of coffee. UPDATE 9/2020: I've since reordered multiple times, and my opinion of it has changed. The quality is inconsistent and changes with each bag. Sometimes it is still great, but sometimes I wish I didn't buy it. I've started purchasing whole bean coffee elsewhere and order this only to have coffee on hand if I run out of everything else. I don't know enough about coffee to know whether the problem is with the quality of the beans, or the storage, or the roasting process. I use a package within days of opening and notice the smell of the newly opened packages can vary; sometimes the taste is bitter, other cups are acidic. Because of this, I no longer recommend this coffee.

This wasn’t the best coffee I’ve ever had but it certainly wasn’t the worst. For the price point you get a ton of coffee. If you’re on a budget, this easily can make coffee for a month (or two if you don’t make 12cups at a time). Shipping was quick as usual. Only wish it came with a scoop already in. If you’re a fan of the sawdust, back of an AA meeting, truck stop, sitting in grandmas cupboard for the last 6 years, has war stories “that would make you lose sleep”, slightly racist comments but means well, always mows the lawn on Saturday @ 7 am, has never hugged their child, cries during the national anthem at a baseball game that is Folgers or Maxwell House, you probably will think this is too strong, too expensive or “what those liberals drink” If you’re a fan of local, fair trade, naturally grown, read a bedtime story, home schooled, sunshine and stars, would’ve voted for Barack a 3rd term, health store, dreadlocked, organic coffee....you probably won’t think this coffee tastes homegrown enough. Or you won’t be looking for coffee on Amazon in the first place.

I saw this coffee on sale and figured I would give it a try. It was very good. Almost had a nice chocolatey flavor and very smooth. I only used for cold brew so can't say how it will taste with a press or dripped, but I will definitely purchase again.
