Works better than the original
This was a replacement holder for my tom-tom satnav. The suction power is excellent - you press the little lever and it really grips the window. The length and ability to angle the satnav is far better than when using original suction pad.

Good product good price.
The Tom Tom original "swan neck" sat nav holder which I bought exactly 6 years ago at a cost of £25 gave up the ghost. The suction cup has somehow failed. The sat-nav and holder would detach from the windscreen usually at night setting off the car alarm. Not Good.As my sat nav is now obsolete (It does me!) I was reluctant to fork out another £25. I looked around and found this. I got it in an Amazon warehouse deal for £7.40Grips the windscreen like a vice. Easy to position on windscreen.

Good product but read the instructions first
Seems a good product- bought for my aging Tomtom start sat nav - original ball mounting had lost its suction powers so couldn’t stay on the screen. Ended up buying this mount which looks good but read the instructions- it recommends heating up the ball joint before fitting it to the socket. I didn’t do this and as a result my Tom Tom now has a crack on the back. I won’t be removing the unit from the ball mounting as I think that will cause further damage. I didn’t read the instructions before fitting so it’s my fault. It doesn’t matter to me as it’s an old unit which has had a new lease of life as downloaded the world maps from Tom Tom - Tom Tom no longer does a OEM mount for my sat nav and overall it think it’s a good mount but heat up the mounting before fitting as it should avoid any damage.

Far better than the Tom Tom equivalent
Purchased to replace a very wobbly Tom Tom unit. If this company can do it (much cheaper as well) why can’t Tom Tom.Best though with its much larger suction pad there is no tendency to fall off the windscreen, sticks like a limpet unlike the Tom Tom equivalent that did so quite often in sudden temperature changes, usually setting off my interior alarm at 2 in the morning!!.

After wasting money on the original manufacturers holder this is 100% better & sticks to the screen.

had to adapt it
This didn't fit my old Tom Tom so i had to saw off the ball and glue the ball to it from my old satnav.to it. But at least is sticks to the windscreen now

A must for some cars
Bought this holder for my Start 20 as virtually impossible to use with the original holder provided by Tom Tom in a Kia Venga.Its a pity that people have to spend nearly £20 on a sat nav extender which in my case was just about 25%!All said, it works and sat nav now comfortably visible and useable.

Does the job.
Yes it is effective does the job. Uou will find it quite difficult to fit in your sat nav into the slot. Hence only 4 stars.

Bonjour , j'ai remplacé l'ancien support qui ne tenait plus du tout par celui ci ,la ventouse est un peu plus grande et le système pour la faire adhérer est parfait .La livraison a été parfaite !!!

Halterung TomTom
Produkt wurde schnell geliefert . Funktion ist super , Einbau schnell und einfach . Navi sitzt fest im Kugelkopf , ist nicht locker .

Paßt perfekt
Ersatz für die alte tomtomhalterung. Paßt perfekt, einfach zu montieren und hält sehr fest an der Scheibe. Ging schnell, alles super nur zu empfehlen auch wenn es etwas mehr als die Billighalterungen kostet.
