Excellent flavour, perfect as a starter to a quality beef or venison main course

Very tasty.

Vile stuff. Tastes horrible, smells horrible, looks horrible. Couldn't bear having it in my fridge but on the other hand, couldn't stand to touch it so as to throw it out...nor could anyone else. As a great fan of pate and a great fan of pheasant (and armagnac) I could not recommend this stuff to anyone.
