My Nephew Loves This Car!
My nephew recently got into cars and, after watching the Fast and the Furious movies, is all into drifting. He was thrilled to play with this remote control sports car and has a lot of fun with it. The car comes with 2 sets of wheels - 1 for drifting and 1 for regular driving. It also has 2 batteries for the car, a USB charging cable, 4 plastic traffic cones, a small screwdriver, some spare screws and a little instruction booklet. It is easy to change the tires in and out, but sometimes they pop off if you are driving fast. The drift tires work best on a smooth, flat surface like tile or laminate. The regular tires are more rugged and are better for outdoor driving or uneven surfaces. The remote control is held in 1 hand and takes some getting used to. I am used to holding a remote in 2 hands, but this one you grip and drive. You need to supply your own AA batteries for the remote. The exterior of the car is plastic and I don't think it can take a lot of hits. You need to drive it carefully so you don't run into things as I think it would crack the exterior. We haven't had any issues so far, but I would recommend buying something more durable if this is for someone's first remote control car. The car is small, but very fun to drive once you get used to it. This car is a great gift for a preteen or teenager who is ready to drive something a bit more challenging.

2nd time is a charm
Nice little drift car and has a cool looking body. I had to return my first one because the motor went out on it within 1 battery use. Everything else worked including the steering and lights, but it would not go forward or reverse after trying with both batteries. Replacement seems to work fine. Steering isn't proportional, you are either turning left or right. Comes with 4 cones and 2 batteries. Would make a good gift for a 10 year old boy. Fun to drive!

Some of the most fun I can get for the money spent.
It's a really basic RC car. The trigger and wheel on remote control does not have gradual sense control, it's only one full speed ahead or full speed back, and full left or full right. Then you can set the motor to be low speed or high speed by the button press. But for the money spend you really can't ask for more. The car body is a soft plastic shell so it can take some beating. And swap the rubber wheel with drift wheels give you some interesting combination. And the car itself is 4x4 so lots of grip to slide around and accelerate! Honestly the most fun I've been having for $20-30. Kinda dumb but I guess we are always kids who love toys.

more for kids than adults
This RC car is definitely more appropriate for young kids than adults.Pros:* detail on the car is really nice, the headlights are pretty cool* it's really 4WD* it's really easy to drift with this car, it excels at this.* two batteries come with the car so you can recharge while you play with it.Cons:* there are no proportional channels, everything is on or off. There is a hi/low speed switch, but when you pull the trigger to go forward, it's either go or don't go...nothing in between. Steering is the same, it's straight ahead, hard right turn, or hard left turn.* the controller is small and really only meant for small hands.* the process for swapping batteries is not optimal. You need to remove a screw, push a tab to remove the cover, place the battery in an unusually large cavity and plug it in, replace the cover, screw it down again.I gave it 3 stars because it can be frustrating to maneuver this around because of the lack of proportional steering and a proportional throttle.

Wow this RC car is awesome, much more than I expected!
This RC car feels like one of those professional ones you can get at the hobby store. It's very well built, looks incredible, it's very tough, and it's a ton of fun to race around. You can change the tires with the included tools to go from slippery drift mode to grippy race mode, and it's lots of fun. My kids love it, but to be honest so do I. It's one of the highest quality remote control cars I've owned, which says a lot since it's not nearly as expensive as some of the others.

Remote control is cheap
I just received this remote control car for my boy and he was so excited. Unfortunately the controller is cheap and barely turns the wheels left and right. I will be returning this car.
