We bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it and uses it all the time. The batteries need to be recharged frequently due to heavy usage.e It comes with 2 batteries so there is very little down time with using the excavator. We highly recommend it.

Got it for my son as a present and he absolutely loves it. It’s easy to use and fun to play with. The instruction manual was easy and it took less than a couple of minutes to get the toy up and going. It’s a great toy if your kid is into ones of this type. Good price for the quality as well. 10/10 would recommend.

The toy comes with a remote control and you can move the excavator forward/backward/left/right, spin the top compartment only, claw up and down etc. There is also light and sound effect. Looks very decent as a boys' gift. I originally bought as a gift for my son's classmate's birthday party, but my son decided to keep it for himself now.

I'm glad I got it.LIKES:- Quite realistic in the movement of the tracks, such as the rotation.- Very detailed.- Sounds are quite clever.- The lights are fun.- The bucket is made of metal.- Uses lithium batteries, and includes an extra one. Note the remote control uses 2 standard AA batteries though.- The remote control is intuitive and fun to operate.DISLIKES:- It's lightweight. It will not take much of a beating and survive.- It is not very resilient to the outdoors in muddy or rocky conditions. It's best played with in soft smooth sandy soil, or indoors.- It's slow moving. The forward and backward movements are not very satisfying. It's the operation of the mechanical portions mimicking the real-thing that is where most of the enjoyment comes from.THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:This is a lightweight toy. It is not going to be moving much dirt. It will certainly pick up material, but there is very limited control, so most items I tried to pick up simply fell out. Soft dirt can be picked up a little bit. There is only one motion to pick up and dump on the remote control. Still, it's a lot of fun to play with. The rotating tracks are awesome. It will rotate beautifully. The cab also rotates impressively. The forward and backwards motion are slow, just like a real one. I would have lost my marbles if I had this to play with as a child!UPDATES:None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

My 4yr old loves this toy! It's quiet, was a perfect gift for the cost. He can easily control it with the remote. Great product!

This toy is awesome. The kids love it! The adults did too. Easy to get everything set up and to drive it around.

This excavator is so fun! My son was beyond excited to open it up and use all the controls. Then my husband came home, and he loved it just as much!!! Works great and I love that it comes with two batteries.
