Anyone's became stiff when try to put on after a month later?

Do i need to get the plate too or will my tripod plate work in the clip? Just wondering whether its necessary to get both?

You need a plate with this clip. I use a Three Legged Thing tripod and they use a compatible plate. The product description says “Arca compatible” plate but I don’t know what that means. You’ll need a compatible plate. I have found that the plate supplied by Peak Design is smoother to slot into the clip than the tripod plate from 3LT.

This one comes with the plate? Or just the clip?

There are two options to purchase. One with the plate that attaches to the camera or other device and one without the plate. The one without the plate states that it is “mount only” and is cheaper. The standard is to include the plate but some other products such as tripods already include plates that fit the PD mount.
