Absolutely great Petg to work with. It is more transparent than what the picture shows though it looks great it comes across as a more emerald color than dark green. I was very surprised how easily it printed there was some stringing though for how humid my space was during printing it did very well. Highly recommend this petg.

Stronghero3D PETG emerald crystal material prints amazing and looks amazing and by far the easiest to use PETG filament I've used to date (granted it is also more than double the price of solid colors). I printed a dragon out of this filament and you would not know this is 3D printed (there are no visible 3d artifacts). I don't know how they make this filament or the formulation, but it doesn't seem to matter what settings I have (within their specified range of course) and this stuff just prints beautiful with the full spectrum of settings for it. For all the normal filament calibrations, all printouts at the different settings looked the same on all of the calibration steps (temperature, flow rate, pressure advance, retraction and VFA).

Absolutely amazing! We have had issues both with PETG and the Stronghero brand (clogging), so when I saw this filament, despite how pretty it looked, I was very hesitant to try it. But I’m a bit obsessed right now with transparent filaments, and I really wanted to offer a boyish color for the eggs and dragons we sell, especially for our Easter season. And with the price being so good (I make it a rule to only buy filament that’s under $20 a roll, and this one was only $15!) I decided we’d give it a shot. From the very first benchy we printed, we’ve had absolutely clean and lovely prints, no fine tuning required. We used a generic PETG basic profile on the P1P and the results have been fantastic. I’m in love with the look! I’m a bit of a color junkie and every time I see these prints I’m drawn in to the subtle sparkle, high shine, and beautiful blues. We’ve had great color transitions both with a single egg/dragon print (at size 50%) and two printed at the same time. In the photo with three eggs, the two dragon scale eggs were printed simultaneously while the crystal egg was printed alone. The photo next to the rainbow egg was also printed alone and while it had fewer transitions in it, the gradual change is lovely. I will say the transition from dark blue to light blue happens quickly and results in a banded look while the move back to dark blue from the light happens slowly. So if inconsistent transitions bother you, keep that in mind. All in all, for anyone who is used to printing in PLA and is a little nervous to try PETG, in our experience this filament has been just as plug and play as PLA! Super easy to use, beautiful results. We’ll definitely come back for more.

I’ve gone through a lot of filament over the last few months, and this one has quickly become a favorite. The consistency is outstanding — no tangles, no weird diameter fluctuations, and it feeds smoothly from start to finish. Prints come out clean with sharp details, strong layer adhesion, and a surprisingly smooth surface finish that needs almost no post‑processing. The filament grips the build plate reliably without warping, even on larger prints, and the color is vibrant and uniform throughout the entire spool. I also appreciate how well it handles different speeds and temperatures; it’s forgiving enough for beginners but performs beautifully when pushed on more advanced settings. Overall, this filament delivers reliable, high‑quality results every time. If you want something that prints beautifully without fuss, this is an easy recommendation.

This is one of the most frustrating filament experiences I’ve had. My first spool of Blue Transparent Crystal was perfect — not “pretty good,” not “needed tuning,” but genuinely flawless from start to finish. Clean adhesion, smooth layers, zero issues across multiple prints. I was so impressed I immediately reordered more and was planning to bulk buy. Then the next spool showed up… and it’s been a disaster. Not a single print has succeeded. Not one. Every attempt fails between layer 2–5, regardless of model size. Same printer, same exact settings, same environment, same workflow — the only thing that changed is this new spool. What I’m seeing: * First layer looks “okay-ish,” then everything breaks down almost immediately * Layers stop bonding properly almost right away * Surface turns rough and inconsistent within the first few passes * Complete print failure within minutes Meanwhile, I can swap to any other filament and print flawlessly again. This is isolated entirely to this spool. So to be clear: * Spool #1: 100% success rate, beautiful prints * Spool #2 (same product): 0% success rate, every print fails within minutes That’s not user error — that’s massive inconsistency or a bad batch. I went from recommending this filament and planning to buy 15 more spools… to not trusting it at all. If you get a good spool, it’s amazing. But based on this experience, you’re rolling the dice — and I’m not wasting any more time or material finding out which one you’ll get. This needs serious quality control. Gamble if you want too.

Really good PETG. The rainbow transititions are good and the prints come out clear and very nice looking. It prints good in my Bambu P2S using Bambu's Translucent PETG profile. Abslolutly no issues with the AMS when changing filaments (and my example job had over 100 filament change). So you may ask why I gave it four starts instead of five? The finish is not even close to that of the model shown on the product page, and that is the look I was going for. Instead I got this nice transliucent, almost transparent finish, which while nice, was not why I ordered this spool. The product description is correct, but the picture is not. So, I am still in a search for a filament that produces the nice satin finish shown on the product page for this filament.

To get the best results of this filament, you really need to print something large. I printed mice that only took 15g, and there was no color change at all within each individual mouse, however there was a slight variation between the first and fourth. However, when I did prints that required 100g+, they came out beautifully. The filament reel says to print between 220-230°c, but I recommend printing at 230-240°, as at the lower temperature there was poor adhesion and my print came out a stringy mess. When I raised the temperature it came out perfectly though. Before purchasing this filament, I was concerned because it is so inexpensive I thought it might be junk, but I'm really.happy with it and will absolutely be buying more.

I really love this filiment. Most of the time it prints flawlessly, and the colors and effect are stunning. But Once in a while I get an uneven roll that stops the print. I have a new antcubic x and in some spoils I have a problem with clogging. I tested it on my crealityk1 se and get the same issues with the same roll. Despite the issues with clogging I still must have this filiment in my library!

A brilliant filament once dried for about 5 hours. Bought to print a wallace and grommit diamond for a friends granddaughter.

I bought this since I though it would be the perfect color scheme I want to use for my new printer, it looks great.
