Park Tool IR-1.3 Internal Cable Routing Kit for Bicycle Frames and Components

After I ordered it and read the bad reviews, I was concerned that it wouldn't work for me, BUT IT DID! One part of the kit is the adapter that is about an inch long, and tapered and threaded on both ends. I was able to use that little gadget to pull brake hose through the frame, tape was too thick. The Di2 lead worked extremely well. The large magnet 'wand' isn't as strong as the small magnets on the leads, and I had no problem pulling wires through that frame, even with a few odd angles deep in the carbon. I would definitely recommend this for people running anything through carbon or aluminum frames. Glad I bought it! I could have had the local bike shop do this for me and paid more than the cost of this tool, and can see using it for other things too.

Park Tool products are the best bike tools a home mechanic, or professional can use. The internal cable routing kit makes setting up an internally cable routed frame quick and easy. Highly recommended!

What a life saver, was about to give up on routing my cables and brakes in my new frame…without this kit it wouldn’t be possible to fish them through my frame.(I tried fit hours even with supplied small tubes from manufacturer). Kind of expensive but well worth it.

Parks Tools in general are really good. You just don’t know how good this one is until it saved you a ton of time fussing around. From routing Di-2 wires to derailuer inner wires or pull bearing out of a hub. The wires and magnet in this kit are Awesome If you work bicycles often. You need this.

There are cheaper options out there but the reality is that you get what you pay for. These work fantastically well and get the job done.

Typical Park Tool experience: costs about twice what it should but works well enough I'm not too upset about having paid what I did for it.

Made changing dropper post and rear brakeling on a Trek class one E-MTB. Made a hor long expletive filled task into a sub 5minute job. Not cheap but worth every dime

This tool is as advertised... This tool is the easiest way to pull cables through internally routed frames. It took me ~10 minutes start to finish to pull through two brake cables on my 2018 canyon Speedmax. The primary magnet is large and powerful enough to lock onto a cable in a frame from about 1".

Om intern kabeldragning brukar kännas som att försöka fånga en ål i ett kolsvart rum, så är IR-1.3 ljuset i tunneln. På riktigt. Magneterna är starka nog att kännas som telekinesi, vajrarna följer plötsligt snällt med och hela jobbet går från “varför gör jag det här mot mig själv?” till “oj, det här var ju nästan… kul?”. Jag gick från svordomar till segerdans på under tio minuter. Verktyget är genomtänkt, robust och gör att man känner sig som en proffsmekaniker även om man egentligen bara försöker få ordning på sin MTB i garaget. 5/5 – Park Tool IR-1.3 ger intern kabeldragning samma känsla som att klara sista bossen utan att ens svettas. En game-changer.

Se nota la calidad en cuanto lo tienes en la mano, como todo lo de Park Tool, desde que descubrí esta marca, he visto que merece la pena el precio por la calidad. Esta hecho para durar y para cumplir ahorrando esfuerzo. El contenido del kit está ya bien descrito, solo decir que probado en mi bici de carbono funciona perfecto. Son sirgas de acero recubiertas como de una capa plástica azul, son muy flexibles y manejables.

Excelente herramienta facilita el enrutamiento interno del cableado de las bicicletas y ahorras demasiado tiempo en el enrutamiento

Needed to thread dropper post cable through a carbon frame. Tried with DIY version which almost worked after two hours effort but couldn’t get round the bottom bracket. Gambled on this expensive tool, worked first time.
