Xbox X Restricted!
The controller was great, worked fine. I would still be using it if it were not for the XBOX X warning that they would only allow it to be used for 2 weeks, then disable the connection, because it was not an "Official" XBOX product. It may still work with Xbox One but not a newer XBOX X.

Good first impressions! (Edit, it came defective)
I was skeptical when viewing this controller due to some negative reviews and the fact that it’s basically $30 after you apply the discount it comes with…which is almost half the price of the original Series X controller. But here are my first impressions after trying this out on my Xbox Series S and my PC for gaming. First of all, the controllers body and feel, is literally exactly the same as a Series X/S controller, I’ve included a side by side comparison with a Series S controller, and the feel, the grip and texture are literally the exact same. Same texture on the back and triggers and the bumpers as the original! The XBYA buttons click and feel the same as the original, and the D-pad is a little higher than the original controllers D-pad, but the click of it feels the exact same. The bumpers of this controller are also the exact same feeling, but where this controller differs, is the thumb sticks, triggers, and the vibration motors inside. The thumb sticks, although they have the same grip as the original, the base isn’t the same. The base of the thumb sticks on these feel a lot cheaper and it’s somewhat evident when you move them. Currently, my right thumb stick feels stiff. The triggers, don’t go as far down as the originals when you press them. I think about 3/4 of the way down. But by no means does that mean they don’t function well, they definitely do function well, it’s just that I wish they would’ve been able to be pressed down more, like the original. But the biggest con about this controller, is the vibration motors inside. The vibration motors inside are not that powerful or strong compared to the original. Also, it feels like there is an imbalance with the left and right motors. It feels as if the left side vibrates stronger than the right. The trigger motors are also not that strong, and for FPS games, it probably wouldn’t be an ideal fit.I’d say this controller is meant for single player games or a backup to play with other people visiting. The controller works great so far on both my Xbox and PC, I’ve tested it out on RDR2, Hogwarts Legacy, and Modern Warfare 2 so far. The share button works exactly the same as the share button on normal controllers. This controller also works with battery packs that are meant for the original controllers. I included a picture which shows it inside, and the back plate still connects perfectly.I’ve seen people complaining about the dongle, but I personally am happy they included it, because it reduces latency when playing on PC. Usually if you connect a Xbox controller to PC wirelessly, it’d be with Bluetooth, which can cause input lag and other issues. This dongle on the other hand prevents that. All in all, I’d rate it a 4/5. 4 stars due to the design and build quality. And 1 star removed due to the weaker vibration motors, and cheaper base thumb sticks. If anything comes up, I’ll be sure to update this review.EDIT: The right thumb stick was actually defective and stopped working eventually… it just wouldn’t move properly anymore!! Hence I no longer recommend this controller since the thumb stick came defective!!

Solid alternative to the brand name
Overall great action on this joycon. Easy plug and play on both windows 10 and 11. Did get an email that with some upgrading of Xbox that it may no longer be compatible. I haven't tried this yet, but I mainly use it for the PC. Great addition overall, simple to use.

Poor connection for Xbox series x
Controller is decent but there are connectivity issues even when I'm 3 feet away from USB drive. I received a message from Xbox on my console stating that devices that show up unknown will be blocked on November 16.2023 so I basically have a paperweight that doesn't stay connected.

Not for me
It wouldn't connect to my Samsung gaming hub TV; disappointed because it was a good price. You get what you pay for.

Xbox consoles
Okay I'm writing a review on this. I just found out that anyone has a Xbox one or series console you will not be able to use on it. Since they have updated the software for the Xbox consoles. So if anyone else wants to use it on a android phone you can't use it like that. But if you have a old Xbox one controller you can use that one as of right now but sure yet.
