Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Firstly these are packed nice in own little packetsthe pleasant coffee smell hits you when you open the packetsthese work fine in the AEG Favola Plus Coffee Machine and see no reason why they won't work in any other A modo Mio machinesthe crema of the shot is the same as the original pods and the strength of coffee i'd also say the same see videotake into account these are single shot pods so in a normal mug for an americano you would need 2 this would be same strength as in the coffee shops any larger drink you will need 3 or 4 i have a 600ml mug so need 4 and so would anyone who likes strong coffeefor people who drink weaker coffee these will be fine for them just using one again depends on your taste and size of mug/cupif you do roughly a 18 to 22 second pour ( meaning press the button and count you will get a nice tasting shot anything longer it goes bitter very quickly )standard mug 330ml fill 3/4 with just off boil water put under machine spout add your coffee i found 2 shots in this size mug is perfect then when done add milk and sugar if neededyou will end up with a coffee better than any bought in the high streetas this will never be as good as professional machine with the correct coffee grind it is very good for a pod coffee and poured right you be more than happyplease don't start your coffee and let it run water through the pod untill your mug is full.this is the wrong way to make any coffee pod or notsadly the packaging was poor just the original box with my address lable stuck on so came battered and open half the pods missing hense the lower star ratingif these were boxed correctly i'd put a higher star ratingmaybe the seller might want to fix this problem with mei have been honest in this review

After buying always the Gold Borbone I have decided to try this Blue formula attracted by all the review.The coffee itself it is great, nice aroma, robust, for those of you that decide to have a nice espresso in the morning this is just perfect. The capsules are into single pouches that preserves the aroma. However, if I had to do a comparison, and I have tried them all, I would still prefer the Borbone Gold quality because is less intense but is a round body, well creamy coffee like the truly Italian tradition wants.Don't get me wrong this is my second top favourite coffee after the gold but if I had to pick, I would pick the Gold.It is also a good price for the quality for slightly more than 0.16£/coffee you will drink one of the best coffee in the market.Thumbs up!!

First off I'll review the packaging: I think it's wonderful that in order for the coffee to stay fresh they individually wrapped them but the pods themselves could be made air tight like lavazza's so you wouldn't need to waste so much plastic individually wrapping them and they are like little balloons so storing them has been a mission but we got there.Next the coffee:Okay so I truly believed nothing could come close to lavazza and its still true. BUT this coffee is good. I'm comparing it to intenso by lavazza and I probably shouldn't, this one is more in the range of I think it's called dolce in terms of taste and strength. The one thing I will miss as I finish 100 of these and I am disliking a little, is the fact that there is no aroma, I smell nothing, with lavazza it's the smell that wakes your sense first. Maybe thats something they can improve on? Overall I definitely think it's worth the money I paid and I would buy again. And I have to add, the coffee is strong like intenso you can feel it later on in your mouth, but its missing the aroma like intenso, you have the aroma of dolce and the taste like intenso only a little lighter on the strength.

UPDATE 2: March 2021 - Not had this for about 6 months as been out of stock...Sadly not what it used to be- weaker, less creamy, more expensive, the water flows through the capsule too easily. Big disappointment.UPDATE 1: Having tried quite a few other (mostly awful) compatibles, to my taste, this is the best for a strong coffee...Amazon has put the price up, but still great value.. At about 17p/capsule these are good value. Good coffee, very much comparable to the Lavazza originals (I have tried some absolutely awful compatibles, but these are not like that)...I am a fussy coffee drinker , I like it thick, complex & strong and this fulfills those simple but elusive qualities. Too much packaging though - each capsule is individually wrapped in a plastic bag...

Well what to say about Borbone Coffee.It is a true Italian Espresso and therefore full of flavour, well sealed and the single packaging allow you to preserve the aroma.However I found this particular type less "cremoso" and way way to strong for my taste. I usually don't get any palpitations at all but with this I felt like I had to go for a run before to feel better.Therefore it is good for a strong kick in the morning but I wouldn't recommend for after lunch unless you want to go for a marathon.I would prefer the Gold quality.Anyway if you want a true Italian experience, Go for BORBONE coffee!

The price of this is very good. very nicely packaged.i don’t believe the coffee is as compacted as the original brand ones so there is less crema. it tastes more like filtered coffee out of the machine.this is the red one i purchased, might try the stronger flavour*update* wife said she liked it at first but didn’t at the end so we moved back to the originals

Best coffee ever the taste is just like in Italian bar coffee shopsI read the reviews on this product b4 ant too many people says about the individual packingJust to let know people the packing of individual pods is to reserve the amazing taste of each coffee pod.My rating is 10/10 amazing love my Borbone coffee I try all of them and my favourite is blue and yellow☕️
