Expensive, but worth the extra bucks for long flights.
In my opinion, there is no better aviation headset than Bose. And the A30 is their best. The noise cancellation is amazing. The audio quality is excellent. It has a small control unit, but I just have set it once, and after that I forget it. There is a gap at the top center of the headstrap that keeps that top button on baseball caps from embedding itself into your scalp. The earcups are soft, and comfortable. The mike boom is flexible enough to go where you need it to go.

My 12th pair in 25 years of professional flying. Bose commitment to quality and standing behind their product is second to none. Bose is truly the gold standard for Aviation headsets.

Great upgrade from A20s but downside is the new ANR
I’ve put about 1,000 hours on my headset now and will say. The ANR isn’t as good as a set of A20s in my opinion. I do fly 300 and 400 series Cessnas pressurized and unpressurized. I have listened to music through these at max or near max volume for 90% of the time. Sometimes on max volume and ATC Going the speaker will distort in your ear. Great music sound also. Just need to improve on ANR

Noise canceling not as good as A20, but still the best.

Better for longer flights over the A20's
No big upgrades over the A20, but the lighter clamping force makes a huge difference if flying more than an hour or so.

Have four different brands of high end headsets and the Bose are the best by far. My lightspeed headsets are also really good but I give the edge to Bose.

Bose quality is going downhill.
Buy the A20, better noise canceling and much better sound quantity.

Great for Cirrus SR20 & SR22
These have Bluetooth (another reviewer said they don’t). Great build quality, clear audio and mic, great noise cancellation, 6 pin is perfect for headset to be powered by aircraft (works perfectly on Cirrus SR20/22 G6 aircrafts). Comes with Bose soft shell case with a soft liner.

Very comfortable and light headsets. A joy to flight with. An upgrade from the Zulu 3s

Way better than my old one
I am a long time light speed user and I used to think they were better. Earning my life as a Pilot and A30 has changed my atc communications significantly better. The three noise cancelling setting is very remarkable and believable or not max setting feel’s so unnecessarily quiet, it feels unnaturaly silent lol. Great job guys.
