This device connects your 30 amp generator outlet directly into your 30 amp port/cord on your RV. As any “newbie” knows about power and your RV, nothing is easy. Most generators with a 30 amp outlet has a different prong configuration than the 30 amp configuration on your RV? Why? That I don’t know, but with this connector, it allows for that connection. Camco makes good, sturdy products just for these occasions. Plugging requires enough tension to stay in place but not too much to make plugging and unplugging difficult. So far, all is good.
