Great and good looking Smartwatch with great functionality
Great Smart Watch. I have always liked Suunto smart watches. I like the app and how they work. I also trust the water depth claims as Suunto is a well known dive watch maker for Scubadivers and I used to Scuba dive. I use it to record swimming exercises, bicycling, walking, and many indoor workouts like treadmill, elliptical, rowing and indoor bicycling. I really like the display that is shared if and when I share it online. This is also a good hiking smartwatch as it has a built in solar panel display that gives it almost a months worth of battery life and a built in altimeter and supports 5 satellite positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, BEIDOU). GPS is the US system, GLONASS is the Russian system, GALILEO is the European system, QZSS is a 4 satellite regional Japanese system and BEIDOU is a regional Chinese system. I have only had it for about two weeks and it is going strong. I got the one with the deep red watch band. I think it looks great. I am very happy with this smart watch and look forward to using it for years. I also always put on a screen protector. This helps keep the screen from getting damaged. Yes, I didn't get it on perfectly centered, hence the bubble on the lower left. It still protects the screen though. Suunto watches are very accurate. I have never had an issue with any I have owned.

Here's my OPITION on the Suunto Vertical
I just sold my Garmin Delta Solar with Ballistics, so my compair will be against that. The good bad and ugly, I've owned about 5 different Suunto's in the past and for me I like the simplicity of them. The Vertical is a step above those now. A touch screen and for me it's not a big seller, more of a oh I forgot it has that. It take a bit to understand the menu's and how to navigate them. A bit of grrrr with trying how to back out of a few of the interfaces, but thats about it. Some people have complained about being laggy, I haven't notice any of that quite yet, but I did also get a update when first configured. It's very very light, almost don't know I'm wearing it, and being such a large face thats a plus. Battery lifes seems pretty good, I wore it two days and used about 5% a day, I turned off Notifcations, but when enabled worked just prefect. On thing I did notice is the weather alert, that was always something I liked about the Suunto. I enabled storm warning, but yesterday we had a storm roll in the late afternoon and I did not get a storm warning, so that has my attention to see if it happens again. I haven't used much of the other apps yet but will test the gps in the next few days to make sure that's working correctly. I do like they include actual maps that you can download to your watch now and in color. I wish they allowed users to modify the watch faces, there are things that I want and others I don't. They have a bunch to choose from but just not what I wanted. For context I just sold a Garmin Tactix Delta with Ballistics. I really liked that one, but battery didn't quite meetup to what was promised, even with the solar and I didn't really have alot of battery draining process running. It lasted maybe a week or 5 days. Really good watch but the face was a bit to crowded and I'm older and eyes just can't see that small anymore.I still think these are way over prices for a basiclly a smart watch, but will probably come down at some point in the future. Bottem line, I think it's worth the purchase and if you are out and about there are tons of apps for those hobbies.Biggest disappointment beside not being able to configure the watch face is the wonky charger, it's about 1ft and wire thin, one tug and it's probably going to break.

Really Bad experience both with quality and customer support
I am Suunto loyal customer using their products since 2015 even recommended to so many friends in the past.Recently I bought Suunto Vertical and faced so many issues:1. Rashes on my wrist (Pic attached)2. HR readings are way off during exercise- comapred with Garmin and Apple I can easily see 40-70BPM gap between Suunto vertical vs other watches whether it's during Hike, Bike, walk or run. Uphill based on my other watch reading is ~160 however vertical is giving me reading of 95-120 (I can easily feel it's not accurate).3. Blood Oxygen measurement-Most of the time watch just stays in the measuring mode and never end up giving the data.Tried different methods to resolve these issues through online forums etc. but NO SUCCESS.Got it into contact with customer care, they also couldn't resolve the issue and took my details that they will send the query to technical team and send me response through e-mail. It's more than one week I didn't hear back from them.Based on bad experience both with product quality (Imagine I spent more than $700) and bad experince through customer support I am not going to recommend to use this product anymore.

Easier to Ise and Read than the Suunto 9. Worth the upgrade
I own have owned multiple Suunto smart watches. The Vertical is the latest. The watch faces and operating system is easier to use than my former daily use Suunto watches. The Vertical was a valuable update to the Suunto 9. Battery life is extended too.

Sunnto Verticle actually made in Finland, not China.
Great product. It has many functions for health and the battery life far exceeds other watches of this type.
