This is a dream watch it not only works as a normal watch,but it's a brilliant race officer and sailor watch,I can't fault it 👏

I'm going to start with the positives. The pre-programmed countdown function works really well, the moulded rubbery strap isn't the worst in the world and not uncomfortable, but has the potential to break off once its aged a bit... However, it'll never age because the watch will give up long before the strap decides it can't cope anymore. As the title suggests, this watch is useless when it gets wet, a bit of a problem for a watch advertised as a sailing watch. If you never plan on going afloat, but need a watch with a decent display and countdown function, then you'll be fine; however, at the first sign of a wave, the screen fogged up and some of the digits stopped displaying. After two days of careful drying out, the fog cleared to leave no digits displaying at all. It was dead. I have given this 1 star, as I simply couldn't give any less. This is a hopeless watch for those who sail on water. It may be better suited to radio sailors or land-yachters, but if you plan on actually getting wet buy a Casio or Timex instead, you're money will be much better spent!

Pretty disappointed on the quality for what is not supposed to be a cheap watch. One of the push buttons fell off and the watch took on water. RIP.

Received the watch. It looked very well made and was really good for sailing with the race countdown feature. After three outings, moisture started to appear under the watch face. Some of The digital segments started to disappear. Eventually there were only four random segments lit. I was very disappointed so returned for refund.

I bought this Optimum Time Series 11 Ltd Edition Sailing Yachting and Dinghy PINK watch on an order placed on December 7, 2024 and unfortunately today June 8, 2025 my daughter sent me that photo where it appears as a dead battery with only 7 months...

And just what son wanted for sailing

Bought this watch to replace same watch on which a button had broken, watch arrived with blank screen, contacted Optimumtime in case I had not set up ie pulled a tab on the battery, they informed me the watch should be on display all of the time. The suppliers clearly did not check before shipping.

They do everything you need .... While they last! I've gone through 3, only because there are so few good available alternatives. I won't be buying another. All have failed with water ingress, the last in just over a season.

Die als wasserdicht beschriebene Uhr ist leider alles andere als das.

Ich hatte diese Uhr letztes Jahr schon mal (leider verloren) und war damit zufrieden. Das Exemplar, das ich dieses Jahr bestellte, ging leider nach ein paar Wochen nicht mehr (Batterie leer? Funktionsfehler?). Es wurde anstandslos eine neue geschickt. Die Kommunikation war freundlich (in englischer Sprache) und zügig. Die anschließenden versandte Uhr funktioniert bisher.

buttons are too stiff, sound is not loud enough in the strong wind day, support reply took a few days, the colour is not the same as what showed in the website. Broke within 5 months. When complained, no reply from the seller.

Comprato per mia figlia che è al primo anno di agonismo, sembra ragionevolmente resistente e di semplice utilizzo anche per bambini sotto i 10 anni (prima usavamo un prodotto entry level generico e, a parte che si è rotto in fretta, la regolazione era più complicata almeno per lei). Rispetto a un orologio sportivo generalista ha più ha la funzione sync che gli istruttori avevano consigliato perché è utile in gara. Leggermente più economico rispetto a prodotti della stessa categoria (il "padellone" per chi ha dimestichezza), ha secondo me anche il vantaggio di essere più portabile al di fuori dell'allenamento/pratica veristica e quindi può essere indossato anche quotidianamente, col risultato che i bambini si esercitano a usarlo più frequentemente. Forse l'unico neo è che il cinturino non è larghissimo quindi i bambini più grandicelli o di corporatura un po' più robusta potrebbero far fatica a indossarlo sopra la muta stagna o uno spraytop invernale che sono più voluminosi. Nell'insieme comunque è stato un successone sia per la destinataria che per i suoi compagni di squadra, con più d'uno che ne ha chiesto uno uguale...

This watch has served me well over 6-7 years of racing sailboats. The sleek design with a molded-in face has doubtless prevented many line-snags. Unfortunately, the band, where the buckle goes through holes has begun to disintegrate and the design seems to prevent getting a new band. Still, for its price this has been a great watch. Easy to see face, easy to operate timer… May have to buy it again…
