I had a weird situation where they were replacing the roof on my building and they took all the air conditioners off .... It was supposed to be for about 2 weeks ended up being about a month and I was massively hot with heat index over 114°.I thought this blanket might cool me down but I think it's designed for people who exude heat rather than people are having heat imposed upon them by heatwaves.I was hoping this blanket would cool me down which did not happen but I do like the blanket because his light .... And I want to say cool but that's from an air conditioned environment .... When I had to be outside on the balcony during a heatwave when my air conditioner was turned off for a month I was grateful to have this blanket because I needed to feel something on me to sleep but it didn't cool me down.I do like the blanket though I use it everyday even now that I'm back indoors with air conditioning.

I have two of these blankets and they are really good at cooling you off while you sleep. One I put underneath me with the printed side up which is the cooler side of the blanket and the other one I use on top of me with the printed side on me. It's like a cooling sandwich. The other side of the blanket doesn't cool as well however would be perfect for cooler months.What makes it even cooler is if you sleep under a ceiling fan, it will also cool the blanket continuously with the air hitting it and going through the blanket. It's a slightly heavy blanket because it seems to have the two layers of a heavier material but since it's a cooling fabric, it's okay by me. The only downside is the fabric it's made of snags easily. So if you have rough feet or toenails, it will snag. I can not smooth my feet well enough to not have it catch on the blanket so I wear a thin pair of socks to bed which solves that problem. If you don't have baby feet, it will catch on it.

Wow, I slept last night. Never got hot. Never got night sweats. Didn't toss and turn. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is I can't throw it in the dryer and I don't have a clothesline. This might take a while to dry hanging over the shower rod in the bathroom. But I want to take good care of it as it is amazingly cool on the skin. All night long and the weight is perfect.

This blanket will keep you extremely cool. I don't know how it works, but it does keep you cool no matter what. For the price you would expect it to be more of a blanket though. It is like a glorified sheet. There are times where we are freezing from it and have to put s thicker blanket on top of it. But if you are using it alone, you will be very cool. We also keep our house cool so it probably amplifies its effect.

The weight is a little heavier than expected so it’s a nice weighted cooling blanket. My mother loved this gift. She’s using it daily right now and plans to use with another blanket in the Fall. It’s the perfect gift for those going through menopause, or for our pregnant mamas.

Lightweight and has a cooling effect. Took a while to get used to because blankets usually keep you warm but this helped me get through hot nights.

it is perfect for the summer. I have 2 of these, I use 1 on the top of my sheet and the other as a blanket. It is soft cool and silky, I use the blanket side from April until late October.

IS SO SO YES IT'S COOL BUT IT'S NOT COOL ENOUGH FOR ME THAT'S MY OPTION.. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS ABOUT IT'S OKAY🤷🏾 .. I'M GLAD I GOT IT FOR THE PRICE I PAID FOR IT ..
