Fantastic in every way. Perfect for most people.
I love everything about this controller except one thing which I'll cover at the end. The sticks are a bit stiffer than most controllers which I prefer and love but also are way smoother than cheaper controllers. The buttons, bumpers, triggers, have virtually no travel time and require virtually no finger strength to press. They're clicky/mechanical like a computer mouse button which I love. Bumpers and triggers are great. The face buttons are very flat with very little rise above the controller plate which is a pro/con based off personal preference and will likely be the most divisive. THE D-PAD IS AMAZING. I've never preferred using a D-pad over a joystick until using this controller. The shape is similar to the Switch Pro controller but feels more premium. If you hold the controller with your middle fingers resting behind the controller, the ergonomics are good. However, I've always played with my pointer finger on bumpers and middle fingers on triggers and using this controller was putting too much strain on my over 30y/o veteran gamer hands in that position. This can be remedied by using the app to map the back buttons, which have the near perfect resistance to press, as a trigger or bumper.I think this is one of if not the best $60ish controllers for Switch which I prefer over the 8bitdo Ultimate by far. But I do prefer the ergonomics and face buttons of the 8bitdo Pro 2 which has been my main controller for 800+ hours. They're equal in quality just depends on your preferences.

Good price, clicky buttons
Buttons are louder than blue switched keyboards. Plastic feels a bit cheap, back paddles and turbo are a plus.

These controllers are getting close to perfection
Now it's not perfect but for the tech involved and how it's being implemented its very much in the right direction. 1st party controller makers like sony, nintendo, microsoft will have to soon take notes from companies like this. What it does right:1. Hall effect joysticks, this version of the hall effect modules are different than the ones in the 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth, and the Kingkongpro controller, im not sure the manufacturer but they are a significant upgrade. On gamepad-tester website I get about 0.6% error circularity. (Very good). There is no flickback and the precision is extremely fine tuned compared to 8bitdo's (im speaking about the points of analog input density, aka within a 1mm square zone this stick will have atleast twice the available points vs 8bitdo for example.2. The joystick and the joystick ring are well thought out, not perfect, but the idea of having a metal ring around the lower stick that rubs against the bowl is very good. Albeit with time i'm sure there will be some form of degradation. Just much less than some that are just plastic on plastic or other more easily degradable materials. I love the fact that you can also just pop off the joysticks, i've found that i can place xbox elite 2 sticks on here , and they fit great lol. I'd rate the sticks 9.5/10 and for the price and materials used 9.8/10.3. Face buttons, I am torn a bit here about this one, so i'll start by saying that at first i was reluctant to like them. And I kept going back and forth on whether they were good or not. Now my rating for the face buttons is about a 7.8/10. But with the caveat that once you get used to them, and dependent on what type of game you're playing they can potentially be 9+/10 rating face buttons. They are mechanical and they feel mechanical, I have a Gamesir T4 Kaleid and the click satisfaction on these are much better. They fell akin to mouse clicks. The only real issue is the fact that if you press them too hard they can depress a bit below the shell. This might sound very bad or scary, but its really not, and after you get used to the pressure you need to use, its becomes almost unnoticeable. If i were to change 1 thing i would make the face buttons either 0.3-0.5mm taller, change the shape of them to be a bit more rounded, or have the shell taper around the buttons a bit to fix this issue. Overall I really am enjoying the face buttons now.4. I don't really care much about analog triggers so having these be digital feels great, the bumpers and triggers both fit great on the fingers and have satisfying clicks when pressed, The plastic feels cheap but smart, (if that makes sense). Very good use of the type of plastic used. and the durability feels good.5. The dpad is a mixed bag, so it comes with 2 types , the bowl and the cross, the bowl is virtually unusable if you plan on also using the joystick, it just gets in the way, not nearly enough space for the circle shaped bowl dpad. On the other hand the cross one is great and the mechanics underneath also feel great, nice and clicky feeling, but not loud or anything, just nice tactile dpad. It could allow for a bit more range to allow you to press it further but that's very nit picky. What it doesn't do so good1. The back buttons are not well placed, I only really use them to play Souls games, (I use them to run) So they work fine for that. But if you want to use them without changing your grip it might not be the best controller for that. They do feel good to press otherwise, but the placement is just too far towards the center to really be useful.2. The controller is a bit too small, the distance between the joystick and dpad need to be elongated by at least half a centimeter. as well as well as the face buttons to the right joystick. But this is a common issue for people with larger hands amongst all controllers. This one is not much different.3. I personally prefer the shape of xbox series controllers shell and handles over the switch pro shape. The reason being is that the xbox allows your hands to more naturally hang around the grips instead of being more parallel like with switch. I also found that when gripping this controller very hard for a period of time my right middle finger wouldn't have much room to fit around the right handle so it can be a bit uncomfortable if you're used to the xbox shape and gripping hard. After a couple weeks i have adapted and it's no longer really an issue.4. The phone app... It does work but if you're not really good with phones it can be annoying, plus i hate having to unplug from my pc to pair with bluetooth just to change my deadzone or a setting. 8bitdo software on pc is phenomenal comparatively.I'm sure i missed some stuff but overall i would rate this controller a 9.3/10 its my main all arounder right now and i'm super digging the sticks and triggers/ facebuttons (after getting used to the face buttons)With a few tweaks this could be the god controller for tech used.

Wow! Wish I had found this sooner for Nintendo Switch!!
Bottom line: Iāve only used this for one day so far and it is very similar to the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, but so much better!!! I wish I had found it sooner!!Physical has the same feel in hand as the Pro Controller and has the same features including rumble, motion control (gyro), and NFC for amiibo support. The biggest advantage: Customizable and additional buttons!!Background and further details:I commonly play the Zelda games and I have been having a somewhat recurring issue with some enemies in BotW. Iām about 50/50 on some bigger enemies where I have to do a lot of panning and moving. At some point in my excitement I will end up pushing on the L or R joystick buttons! The R is obvious, but L is the one that really gets me. I will find that once I get the pan correct, I see that I am slowly āsneakingā away from the enemy vice walking/running. Sneaking away in battle hasnāt been helpful at all so far ;).I finally tried to find a solution. I found another controller that had programmable buttons that I thought was going to solve the issue. Sadly it didnāt have the same features as the Pro Controller and more importantly, though it had programmable extra buttons, I couldnāt change the L and R joystick buttons so I had the same issue. That led to finding this controller. Within 30 minutes of receiving this controller, I had it set up the most optimal way for me using the app on my iPhone. Shortly after I had it on the Nintendo Switch and tested it out. So far, it just feels a little bit better than the Pro Controller with the added benefit that I resolved the issue I was having before my quest for a better controller. I havenāt even tried the extra turbo and macro buttons yet. If I have any issues, I will update this review. What I wis was enabled/improved by the manufacturer:1: I wish there was an option to set regular buttons to āBlankā similar to the extra buttons. Right now, you can only change them to function as another button. I have set those pesky (to me) L and R joystick buttons to something I think will be benign, but setting to Blank ( non-functional) would be optimal.2: I think it would be nice to be able program the turbo and macro buttons in the app. I noticed you canāt right now, but seems like if you already know what you want, that would be great way to do it. Iām also assuming that since you canāt set them in the app that if you set them in game, they wonāt be saved in a profile/ code when you go back into the app.
