Grandsons love Tom and Jerry cartoons

Bought this food my granddaughter who is a fan. She loves this DVD. Brings me back to when I use to watch as a child

I love this set but why does Tom hate Jerry so much, do you think it's just some sick natural impulses telling him to hate on jerry. Or do you think Jerry messed with Tom's life so much that the only way to solve the problem is murder. Please let me know after watching this because these questions keep me up at night.

I am not a "true collector" of tom and Jerry but this DVD was one of the best things I purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter. She loves tom and jerry/tom and jerry kids and will sit and watch it for hours. I bought this DVD for her for Christmas and it is one of her favorites. she will watch it over and over again. We even took it on vacation with us to entertain her.It is a lot of fun and has a long run time per DVD (it comes with 2). Very good product, lots of variety and value for the your money.

I Luv cartoons but the Tom and Jerry product have never really appealed to me as there is a certain sameness to them as how many variations of a cat chasing a mouse can be devised to be different ? Also a lack of character development and dialogue for these cartoons as compared to the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies classic cartoons make them {in my opinion} far less enjoyable for adult viewing. HOWEVER for small children like my 2 year old son their frantic pace and widely exaggerated cartoon violence make them far more enjoyable for children aged 7 and under where the lack of dialogue and character development doesn't matter. A big plus for these cartoons are their musical scores and special effects noises which are excellent and complement the cartoon action brilliantly. The overall quality of this DVD is very good. So for small children 7 and under I give this DVD a 5 star rating and for adult viewing a 3 star rating.
