Surprised how much I liked this!
My canon tripod broke after a few months of use so I got this. I'm *really* surprised how much I like it. Ironically it fits the color aesthetic I have (grey tones with orange splashes), so that was just a bonus. I'm short but wanted something that could get much taller for future use with a project I'm filming and I really like how tall this can become. It's so easy to setup and adjust very quickly and folds down to a nice compact size that still fits perfectly into the old canon carrying case (which is really really nice). The Canon tripod was hard to tell when the tilt was locked in place, which is why it made it easy to go past and this it broke. This tripod does a great job of being able to tell that each part that is tightened without going past the breaking point. It's very lightweight as well so moving around is ready and yet it's still very sturdy. This will be my new go-to whenever I need a tripod.

Amazing tripod
I love this tripod. I recently broke my other tripod by another company and I was very concerned about which tripod to buy next because i do see a lot of good reviews and bad ones on a lot of the options of tripods I was looking at but I am extremely pleased by this one so far the best quality and tightness when it comes to turning or rotating it a certain angle and for the size it is really perfect and tall. Easy to use and it comes with a lot of attachments plus a wireless remote so you can take pictures easily just by a click of a button instead of trying to press the button on your phone or if your using it to take pictures from distance the device can be held in your palm. You will not go wrong with this product. Definitely recommend

Good tripod for dSLR cameras
I have used other more expensive and more metal component (heavier) tripods similar to this one. I had gotten out of my hobby for awhile and have just gotten back into it, so I thought I would try this tripod.First off, for those that have never used a panhead on a tripod, the knobs and levers do certain things.I have seen reviews where people have complained that the "elastic knob" doesn't hold the camera up, it will droop. It's not supposed to. That's not the "tightening screw/lever" for up and down, it's for panning side to side. You will want to pan at different tensions to control the speed of panning without jerkiness, hence the "elastic knob". Also, you might want to set the tripod legs at a certain position that may not be a good direction for the lens. This is where you can loosen the elastic knob, turn the panhead side to side to aim your camera where you want to, then tighten it down to hold it from moving side to side. The legs stay where they were, on uneven ground where you might have uneven leg extensions so that the tripod is level for panning this is very helpful to not have to move the whole tripod itself and just move the panhead on top.The long thin handle that comes uninstalled screws into the panhead and is what controls the up and down of the camera/lens, that will tighten more than enough to hold any dSLR and lens combo without drooping. The handle is long and thin so you have something to grab and position the up/down of the camera/lens and then just twist to tighten to hold your position. Very useful design.I advise people that have never used a panhead on a tripod to do a quick google search to know exactly how they work, I'm sure you will be pleased with this tripod after having learned how to use it properly. The tripod itself. Lightweight, good. Height, good. Sturdiness, ok. But, it does have a hook under the panhead that you can hang your camera bag or anything else on, and that WILL add a bunch of stability to it. So, definitely not a drawback.Maybe a bit too much plastic (lightweight), so be careful over tightening things, not necessary to do that, either. Also, I wouldn't advise being too rough with it. That doesn't mean it's not a good tripod, I think it is. But, it is a lightweight one with a bit more plastic than a high end professional one would have, and it is at a very attractive price point. So be aware that plastic breaks easier than metal (duh, right?).The quick release plates are a nice add-on, I have used them before. They make it easy to remove the camera for various reasons while using the tripod, but I don't leave them on the camera when I am not using the tripod, I take them off. You'll understand why after using it a few times. All in all, after having used high end tripods with panheads in the past and this one now, I think it is a very good tripod at this price point, hard to beat. I do like the compact and lightweight aspect of it. I have only just received it, so if anything changes with repeated use I will update this review.EDIT: I should mention, as to the stability, I never extend the smallest, bottom legs on any tripod, regardless of how heavy duty it is unless I have to, which I almost never need to do. I'll extend the post the panhead sits on before I extend those bottom legs. The reason for this becomes obvious once you put regular use on a tripod with any height to it. It is the biggest contributor to instability on any tripod, keep 'em closed up unless you absolutely need to use them, then just be aware of how much more unstable those legs are going to make the tripod, any tripod.

SHOCKINGLY Good
I was NOT expecting this when I ordered this tripod. This tripod is the same price as my last AmazonBasics tripod and it is TEN TIMES the tripod. Taller, sturdier, smoother, I could rave about this all day. Worth WAY more than what you're paying.

Perfect!
This thing is very sturdy, extends to over 6ft tall with no wobble! Was shipped perfectly and I got it in time for the wedding I needed it for. Easy to adjust of the fly, lightweight and not too bulky once collapsed.

Fantastic 10/10 for spotting scopes, and family photos
arrived in two days, packaged well, works flawlessly and the hight is perfect. im 6’3” and i can use it with out having to bend down. that was the selling point. IT ALSO HAS TWO BASE PLATES so i can mount one to my spotting scope and the second for the cellphone holder piece for family photos. Now everyone is in the picture! I originally bought this for my spotting scope to take shooting. Which it preforms just as I wanted to, but now I’ll bring it on the family camping trips as well. When collapsed and in its bag it takes up no space at all and is very very light. I feel it’s built well and very rigid. It’s very thin material so I would be careful with it but still use it. Can’t beat the price at all.My only complaint is the up and down motion is extremely stiff even with it loosened all the way. The other motions left and right and the tilt feature are effortless and smooth. All motions have individual locking knobs to lock every joint in place keeping a perfect sight picture on your target even when bumped.Love it

Compact yet tall and a great color
This tripod is great and sturdy. I wanted something that was compact enough for my camera backpack, but also tall enough that I’m not hurting my back from being bent over while taking photos (I’m 5’8”).

Great so far
Some plastic and “fragile” parts but it’s good for someone who’s want an affordable and reliable tripod

Light
I really like how light it is, the product is also really good specially for iPhones/phones. I use it to make videos, I’ve not tried it yet on a camera. I love how portable it is, due to its weight it’s so easy to carry around in the bag (included).

Excellent Value
This tripod was exactly what I needed! I used it to mount a laser level during a renovation of my kids bedroom. It included all the required hardware and was extremely easy to set up. I love the quick disconnects which allow for easily and securely mounting your camera/laser etc. It was very sturdy even at maximum height. The only negative for me was that it was not incredibly tight in tolerance, took a minute to get the laser to shine exactly where I wanted it to be due to some play in the mount etc. Comes with a little storage bag as well which I love.

It Will Work For My Purposes For Now
I purchased this tripod and it was not the lowest cost and also not the most expensive out there. I thought if I am going to write a review I might as well give the whole thing. Order came on time as expected, Amazon is usually pretty good about delivery. However the box did come damaged and I was wondering if the product was going to be damaged or not. After opening the package nothing appears to be missing or broken so that was good. The bad part is "2" of the "3" feet for the legs would not screw in all the way. The problem is that the screw holes were not machined in all the way. I confirmed that with trying all screws in all holes, all 3 screws went into the "1" hole that was machined correctly. With that being said, you can adjust the level by adjusting the legs a little to get it level to how I need to use it. If I was going to get really serious about shooting photos this is not a good enough tripod for that use as it is not "User Friendly" for fine tuning level or different positions quickly because it's a little cheaper made. But for what I am using it for this Tripod will work for me and at a pretty good price point.

Good general purpose tripod
It's basic at best. The orange legs look good, the camera is stable, and the height is great. It's not professional by any means. Rotating the camera using the arm will cause the entire upper assembly to come loose, so you really need to tighten that down. Unfortunately there is no easy way to do that. The Pan head lock works well enough, just don't expect to use this as a movie making tripod unless you have super power dexterity. For stills, it works great. The price is great for what you get, and I wanted something I could drag around out in the bush, and muck. The addition of a bag is nice, and it's pretty light.
